I can't remember the date that Elliott said his Christmas CD would be available. What was the date again?

I remember him saying October 5, but haven't heard any promo about it, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was delayed.

I was kind of surprised they didn't do promo for this too. Hopefully it will still be in October. Although, he is doing his tour during that time so it would be tough.

This was done just for Target, right? So is it totally up to Target to promo it and market it? Or does Elliott's management team do it? I would think one of them would have gotten on the ball with marketing by now if it were coming out October 5th. But I hope we are wrong and that it does come out sooner rather than later. I cannot wait to hear it!!! :awe:

I'm sure Target is going to be promoting it - but I would have thought Elliott would have been baiting us by now if it was imminent. Anyway, the holiday season is not far away and that means an Elliott Christmas CD!!!

...I'm so excited that he's doing a christmas album...i am like a christmas music freak. I listen to it all the time!!!

I checked the Target Ad which came today, and it only showed CDs that were coming out Sept. 25 Tuesday... So I bet if it comes out on Oct. 2 Tuesday, then it'll show on next week's ad. I can't wait!!!

Oct 2 would be perfect. I'll happen to be in a town that has a Target that day!!!

^Sorry guys, I've seen the circular for next week and there are no Christmas cds featured. I don't expect (and these are just my opinions and guesses) this to be released until the end of October or mid-November. I am pretty certain that Target will promote this cd before it is released. They have special holiday collections almost every year that are distributed by Red.

does Target have their Christmas sections out yet? Look for the CDs to pop up in both the msuic section and the holiday section. They won't necessarily appear in advertising form until later, but could be made available anytime.

Thanks for the "inside info". I thought we would have heard much more about it from his camp and even from Target by now if it was imminent.

I remember last year when I was browsing at Target around the holidays they had several Christmas Cds in a special display. I'm curious as to when they start putting those out.

I distinctly remember October 2nd as the date given but I don't remember if it was in one of the radio interviews or in print.

Last year, Michael Bolton, did an exclusive holdiay CD for Target and it was released on October 3rd. I found a link to the Michael Bolton forum and his fans were having trouble locating the CD in certain stores. Here's the link:

I just saw a date , Oct 14th listed on the cover of the Christmas Cd on the E-Train as the release date.
