Title: Anybody Going To Be Elliott For Halloween?
AvivaDove - September 24, 2007 11:57 PM (GMT)
Costume stores make costumes of celebrities. Hannah Montana is big with tween girls this year. Maybe they'll make an official Elliott costume next year.
My 4 year old son told me today that he wants to be Elliott for Halloween. I'll get him a curly wig, use eye liner pencil to draw on a mustache and beard. He can wear my Elliott Yamin t-shirt from a concert. It will be a little long. and jeans and sneakers. He can wear my Star of David necklace, his sister's green and blue bracelets and depending on how warm it is, maybe his grandpop's Elliott style hat.

Yes...MY HUSBAND!!!!This post makes me laff!! A friend of ours just remarked that my DH would get better results from me if he wore an Elliott-mask!! So funny!! (I pooh-poohed it but, hey!...who knows?)
Wow! Aviva, love your ideas, he'll be the hit of the neighborhood..don't forget to give him some E-music to play too!

Angell,
I don't think I could get my husband to dress up like Elliott. Once he was a teddy bear and another time, Austin Powers. That was it. If you get your husband to dress up like Elliott, it might be more comfortable to draw on a beard and mustache( if he doesn't already have it).
I'll post a picture of my son at Halloween time. He has a microphone shaped radio that says ''American Idol'' on it. He won't need music. He likes to sing''Wait For You'' by himself. It's not unusual. Many little pre schoolers are out there singing,''Wait For You.''

I was actually thinking of being E for Halloween. I'm glad I wasn't the only one! I'll have sneakers, necklace, jeans, tee, and of course curled hair with a hat and a beard drawn on with eye liner :rotfl:

Hehe no, but at my school we have Spirit Week and one of the days is "Celebrity" so I could curl my hair or something XD
I wish I had a boyfriend right now so he could be Elliott and I could be Jaime... oh well :P

So far, the curly wig is perfect. My son is practicing his impersonation too. He stands in front of my glass case of collectible dolls, like they're the audience and enthusiastically sings and points ''One Word'' to the ''audience. '' He has a toy microphone. He really has Elliott's moves down.

It's funny - I just saw this thread tonight but yesterday at work we were talking about our ideas for costumes for Halloween. I said that I would dress as Elliott and then my co-worker said then I will dress up as YOU and follow you around all day! haha we got a good laugh out of that one. Seriously tho- I might do it.
