About to leave to line up for stubs! Meeting wandergirl and other Yaminoys to stake out the mall 3 hours before opening time. Haha. Wish us luck, we're trying to get as many extra passes for others who won't be able to line up early. :)

The Yaminoys have a LOT of stuff for us!! xtn4e has been texting me, also talked to them earlier today but the noise in the background was drowning the whole convo. Anyway, they have all kinds of stories. Elliott's last night here was a GREAT success...tears flowed, group photos taken, hugs, etc etc!!

I was a bit disappointed today for not getting that group pic with Elliott. To be honest I was pissed that some of those who got into the group pic were not even Yaminoys and I was left out for reasons that were beyond my control. That was only bad memory of tonight for me but otherwise, it was a blast and Monet will tell you that as well.

We, the Yaminoys, were so rowdy and we would sing alongside Elliott in nearly all the songs. I think the videos will show that. This I think was the best of the three that I had the chance to watch. Elliott looked so happy and we were so happy because he mentioned the Yaminoys at least thrice and he said he could not wait to get back to the Philippines.

It was a really long day for most of us! I met wandergirl, Lea and others at one of the entrances of Alabang Town Center at around 8:30am. They had been there since 8am, is that right? There was a nice security guard who gave us tips... wandergirl? Care to tell the story? :)

(edited to NOT reveal which entrance we met at)

...anyway, the nice security guard told us not to wait all together, but to break up into twos or threes, so that the next guard on duty wouldn't mark us as people who were trying to get stubs. Our goal at that point was to get inside the mall before opening time (11am) so we could be first in line at the concierge to get our seating stubs...

We split up and headed for different entrances. I managed to get in first (I think the guard knew what I was there for, but with a *wink wink* decided to let me in anyway) ;) For a few minutes, I hung around at some tables near the concierge booth, trying to look unobtrusive. I (thought I was) the first one there. But I got a text from wandergirl (who was still outside the mall at this point) urging me to start lining up because she saw some other people entering the mall, and they looked like Elliott fans. So, I stood up and started the queue. Then, people started coming out of the woodwork! They had also been lurking out of sight, afraid that the guards would send them away, haha. After a few minutes, there were already around 15 people lined up behind me!

Had trouble accessing etrain for a few minutes but it's okay now.

Uh oh shhh don't reveal who gave us tips, I don't want that guy to lose his job. I still have to give that guy an I<3EY shirt because he was so helpful. He even approached me before the show and asked if we were able to get tickets.

All the Yaminoys who were in the area early managed to get into the mall one way or another! Living proof that the cliche "when there's a will, there's a way" is actually based on reality! There were around 50 people in line before the mall security realized they had been breached. Haha! But at least they didn't send us away. Suddenly, a CD selling table opened (first 50 buyers would get an autograph signing stub)... so we all bought our 2nd, 3rd or 4th copies of "ELLIOTT YAMIN", just to cover all bases.

Awww...too bad you didn't get in the group photo! Sorry to hear that, but it sure shows that Elliott has made more fans in Manila, woohoo for that! Or maybe they just wanted to be a part of the now famous Yaminoys?...hehehe...

Glad the rest of the night was an awesome experience for all of you!

I was so pissed that at some point I resolved to lay low from the Yaminoys forum and the Etrain. I also resolved not to read the recaps. I still don't have the heart to look at the group pics. I actually nearly cried from disappointment earlier.

But the dinner did something to me, I guess. Also, whenever something like this happens to me, I try to do something worthwhile to make up for my disappointment.

Then, a little before 11am, we knew the mall entrances had officially been opened because people started rushing towards the concierge and joining our queue! It was the like The Amazing Race - Part 2 (Part 1 was at Glorietta). But this time, *we* weren't the ones making a mad dash for the concierge! Our places at the head of the line assured us that we'd at least be able to get our seating stubs. I personally couldn't believe that I was first in line. I have pics to prove it, too! :)

I'm sorry that happened. I hope in time, all the other great memories outweigh this disappointment. So glad you are here :)

Sorry, I did schoolbus duty to 10 Yaminoys (thank God i brought a big car LOL). I have about 3 hours online so i hope that it's enough for me to get through everything that happened.

Oh it was THE show of Elliott's tour and it was such a blessing that we were there! I will start tossing in the details but, wow, just thinking about it now is giving me goosebumps.

I'll start the recaps from the afternoon since that is when I arrived. more in next post...

(Gosh my hands are shaking as I try writing this down... merrr, shall I let you finish your recap first so it makes for easier reading?)

I feel so bad for you, hon! I think that it's just "life"..we all have moments like that I think...but please hang in..Actually it just shows how much you love Elliott, hahaha, if you stay...Anybody can be a fan, but you are a die-hard, true-blue fan! And you would be very missed...so please don't go! I know some really, really hard workers for E that also never got to see him at some of the concerts in U.S...It is a hard pill to swallow but there will be more chances..E said he is coming back there for sure! Again, so sorry the picture did not work out this time...Hugs!

So, at long last, the concierge started giving out the seating stubs! Each of us got a stub, and some of were able to get two because we asked other people to line up with us (nice people who agreed to line up even though they wouldn't be watching the concert). We settled in for the looooong wait until 5pm, which was when the seating area gates would reportedly open!

You guys have worked tirelessly for months in preparation for Elliott's visit and I'm sure it was a long, emotional rollercoaster of a day for all of you! I'm glad to see you're still here and be a part of the Etrain family and I hope to still see you at Yaminoysyahoo, too.
