This song is so contemporary, so compelling and so beautiful - that I started thinking about all the places I hope it shows up before the holiday season is over. I don't know how Target's involvement can help or hinder this - since right now it's exclusive - BUT

On the Radio - could be a bonafide hit - even if it is seasonal

On the soaps - background placement for all those inevitable romantic holiday scenarios

On primetime TV - see above

I just keep thinking that if there is a song Elliott sings on any televised "holiday" appearance it will probably be the song from last year, since it's still on ITunes.

I hope Target sells the heck out of this CD....distribution woes aside.

BTW, I'd love to hear if anyone bought any of the other holiday CD's and how they compare.

My husband said the same thing this morning! I scored 2 Christmas CDs this a.m. at my local Target and we listened to it together and he said "He ought to release "Warm Me Up" as a single."

Here's one suggestion I bet everyone will like.....

Sing WMU at his upcoming concerts. Pretty please!!!

It was so cold and rainy here in Mpls and when I got in my car I turned on "the CD" - when Warm Me Up started playing - it really DID warm me up!!

I can totally see a video for it....


Think log cabin by a frozen pond/lake, snowing outside, mistletoe hanging in the doorway, champagne, candlelight, crackling fire in the fireplace, bearskin rug......

Warm me Up is THE song of the cd...it just keeps me coming back...really really love it. I hope it's a taste of what's to come...musically.

I hope Target does some Christmas ads featuring that song. It would be a good move on their part!

I love Warm Me Up. It gets stuck in your head immediately and so romantic and a wonderful bookend to This Christmas ("kiss me underneath the mistletoe").

Great how he put a little of everything on the cd--the traditional, the soulful, the funky and the romantic. It is such a joyful celebratory cd. Jingle Bells and A Very Merry Christmas make me want to get up and dance--love the upbeat songs so much. Let's be naughty is oh so nice as a flirty companion to Santa Baby. Hope a bunch of the songs get airplay.

Whoo! I finally got my CD today. Target had all the other NBC ones but not Elliott's last week. I have to agree with everyone this song is HOT! I loved it the first time I heard it. It is SO today and definitely would be a hit if it gets airplay. It's one of those songs you WANT to hear over and over. I've had it on repeat for the last hour and it keeps getting hotter and hotter for me. I am definitly WARM. This is the kind of song he needs to lean towards in his regular music. It almosts puts you in a trance. It makes you want to ...well ya know. Where's my DH when I need him!

Yes! Warm Me Up is also my favorite on the Christmas album. It gives me chills how sexy he sings this. Can't get it out of my head. It is so addictive!

I love it! It's my favorite. I love what they did with his voice on the chorus. My sister even likes it!
