'Twas the night before Tuesday, when all was not nice
Not a creature was stirring, not even Bo Bice

The racks at the TARGET were lonely and bare
Leaving the Etrainers sad and full of despair

The Yaminoys were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of parcel post danced in their heads

And Chloe in her green Tee, and Rick in his cap
Had staked out the parking lot refusing to nap

When on the roof of the Target arose such a clatter
They sprang from the lot to see what was the matter

Away to the entrance they flew like a flash
Bumped into each other and fell on their ass

When, what to their wondering eyes should appear
But a miniature tour bus, and eight tiny reindeer
With a curly headed driver, so lively and free
they knew in a moment it must be St E

The reindeer stopped right where they came
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name

"Now, Yellin! now, Rooney! now, Jackie and Wee!
On, Elliottcrazy! on OG! on, Linda and Mike 83 !

To the top of the charts! To the top of them all!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"

So up to the Target roof top the tour bus it flew
With the bus full of CD’s and some foam fingers too

And then, in a twinkling, we heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof

As we drew in our breath… and were turning around
Down the Target sign Elliott came with a bound.

He was dressed all in leather, from his head to his foot
he looked like Elvis Presley…it sure was a hoot

A bundle of CD’s he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.

His eyes -- how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow
while the blue of his eyes gave off a strange glow

The moon made a glimmer across his new teeth
While the gold of his record he wore like wreath

He had a smile on his face and a little round booty
That shook, when he laughed while he did his duty

He was happy and dorky, a right jolly old elf
And we laughed when saw him, in spite of ourselves

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
Soon gave us to know we had nothing to dread

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the racks; then turned with a jerk,

And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the Target sign he rose;

He sprang to his bus, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the shot from a pistol

But we heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,

"Happy Christmas to Y’all, and to Y’all a good-night."

Here I have been waiting all day for a reply to my PM and your out here writing Holiday E poems!!! Happy to haer you found the CD...I haven't even attempted to try yet. Working 2 jobs, I'm just too wore out to trapse from Target to Target after work searching aimlessly. I feel pretty confident, there will be one out there for me somewhere...someday!!!
