Wow....where to start?....
Well, we made it to Columbia and checked into the hotel. I called BigEfan and she said they were taking pictures and getting autographs IN THE BLUE NOTE as we spoke. I took off for the venue on foot and was slightly out of breath when I arrived. There was a large man kind of blocking the doorway but he was talking to someone so when he got more involved I slipped behind him into the lobby. There were a couple guys and girls setting up EY concessions and I asked "are there Etrainers in here?" and one girl said through that door. So.....I went in! I only knew what BigEfan looked like but I found her and several others and they were talking with Elliott and taking pictures. I COULDN"T BELIEVE IT! Elliott was RIGHT THERE! I introduced myself to the other Etrainers and I really can't say exactly what happened but I asked Elliott to sign my Sounds of the Seasons CD which he did. A couple other ladies had theirs and he was looking at it and said these were the first he had seen. Then someone said "Do you want your picture with him?" and I said yes but I dont have a camera but she had one and took my picture with Elliott and I think another one with either MerriLu or idoletc. I'm sorry girls! It happened so fast I can't remember who or when or ANYTHING! Good old Elliott amnesia hits again! Everyone was SO nice. I was happy to just get my cd signed. The concert was wonderful and my hubby enjoyed it too. I'll post more tomorrow. I left Merri and Idoletc in line waiting to get to the merchandising table. BigEfan was worn out and heading back to her room too.
I just have one thing to say....
Etrainers RULE!!!!

oh, and by the way....the placed looked packed from my vantage point and it was a very diverse crowd. My husband was afraid he would be the only man their but there were lots there. I saw several families too. Josh did great....TLG did great although just a tad too loud. Elliott was perfect and I want to give a shoutout to Sway. He was AWESOME! Very tasteful and I think they were using a harmonizer on him too because I heard more than one harmony line and no one else was singing.

I am so glad that he is drawing the big crowds that he deserves. I really wish I could have been there!

Glad that you got to meet Elliott and have your CD signed. Also glad that you and hubby enjoyed the concert.

I'd like to add....I feel really bad because I didn't even say anything to Elliott except I'm Tralalara from the etrain. I didn't want to impose on his time and he doesn't owe me a thing. Getting to hear his voice is enough. But I don't think I told him thank you.
So, if you read this Elliott, thank you so much for the autograph and picture. Your voice touches my soul and I wish you all the success you can dream.

So did he sign after the show as well?

I'm not 100% sure since I left. The lobby was TINY and it was elbow to elbow people waiting and lining up outside. The staff was trying to get everyone to line up but there was NO WAY unless they took it outside. But they did say he was coming out to sign.

Elliott did come out after the show as well. He signed autographs, took pictures, and gave out alot of hugs. I know because I definately got more than my share. sorry, the girl can't help it!LOL I didn't get to the venue until after 4 p.m., so I didn't have time to get to a Target before hand. But wonderful Joanne (jockeyrep) (I hope I got it right), she actually gave me one of his x-mas c.d.s so I could get one signed. It actually brought me to tears. What a nice thing for her to do. Elliott was AMAZING, he loved the response from the crowd, he could feel the love we have for him. It showed on his face and he was so soulful with You Take My Breathe Away, Sharing The Night Together, all of it was so wonderful I had e-mailed Sway a while back to tell him that I was thrilled he is touring with Elliott. He e-mailed me back and said to make sure I came and said Hi to him, and I did! After the show I saw him standing by the bar talking to a couple of guys and as politely as I could, I asked him if I could have a picture of him. He said "You sure can, but I want you to be in the picture"!! So I hugged him and reminded him that I had sent him an e-mail and thanked him for e-mailing me back. What a sweet man he is. I believe he genuinely knew who I was. Oh what a night it was (don't you all agree?) :fangirly:

I TOTALLY agree Clara, thanks to you and your sister and Mary and Renae and Laura (although I didn't see alot of Laura). It was great meeting all of you!

Oh what a night. I had the best time meeting all the e-trainers. Laura (bigefan) thank you for letting me tag along and have the opportunity to watch Elliott rehearse, That was a treat, He was so gracious. I can't believe how tongue-tied I became when meeting him. He actually remembered me from outside his tour bus earlier in the day. He had a hood on and was talking on a headset - which I didn't realize at first. I felt bad for bothering him. He was very nice and explained that he was talking on the phone, but would be around for awhile. Not wanting to be too much of a stalker I left hoping I would meet him later. (Thanks Laura for making that happen) The concert was wonderful. His voice just mesmerizes me. Sharing the night together, One Word and of course A song for you were my favorites. Tralalara, Idoletc, Millie, Joann , Laura and anyone else I missed I hope we can all meet at another concert some time. It was so much fun to hang out with you all

Haven't got my pics yet, will go tomorrow to do that, also to get my hands on some more of those c.d.s. Some for me, and a couple for my international recipient Angelo. Tralalara, Mary, Renae, Laura,Joanne wonderful meeting you all. as well. My sister Millie was so amazed at how nice you all were. I tried to act all nonchelant about it but I was really amazed as well. Thank you all and Elliott and Sway for such a wonderful evening. The E-love was all around the town!!Wooo---hoo!(MARY , be careful who you sit next to next time, you just might get poked in the eye!LOL)

Meeting all you guys made this so special! So happy a goodtime was had by all! :grouphug: I had a BLAST!!!! And MaryLee....u can come out of lurking once in awhile and post....I know ya wanna! :rocker:
