:awe: You cant take the smile off my face!

We were driving in circles trying to find a parking spot before the show. We kept passing the tour bus and then finally we found a spot (about the 4th time around! lol). So we get out of the car (its me, my best friend, and my boyfriend) and walk about a block and start to pass by the tour bus, and I look around the corner and I see Elliott just standing there on his cell phone!! There was not ONE person around. I was shocked. I was thinking 'oh my god, I cant believe hes standing right there!' (btw... in June when I drove 400 miles to see him in Milwaukee I waited in line for an hour to see him and right before my turn they made him leave). My friend (who is not even a fan, but wanted to go with me) said "lets ask him for a picture!" I, being the shy person I am, said "I dont want to bother him while hes on the phone lets wait a minute..." She said "But this might be your only chance!" So she walked up to him and he smiled and she mouthed to him "pictures?" Then he said to the person on the phone "Can you hang on a sec I am going to take a picture with someone". I was freaking out!! I was sooo excited! Without even thinking I just shoved my camera at my boyfriend and said "Take my picture!" lol. I walked over to Elliott and said "Hi!" :rotfl: I didn't know what to say! My friend is 5'11' so she squatted down for the pic so she didn't tower over him and he just laughed at her. :elliottcap: Then after the pic my friend decided to tell Elliott about how I waited in line for an hour in June and never got to meet him and he apologized (which he totally didn't need to!) and then she told him how I drive 400 miles to see him in June and he said "Oh wow thats awesome! Thank you SO much for coming!" So I finally was able to speak and said "You're welcome, thank YOU so much for taking the time to take a picture with me and I am looking forward to your show!" Then we said bye and he went back to his cell hpne convo. :rotfl: Sorry for the LONG recap of something that lasted like 2 minutes but as you can tell, I am SUPER excited!!!! :fangirly:

CONGRATS Kellie!!! So happy for you! It has been 8 days since I met Elliott & I am still on :cloud9: ! He truly the kindest soul I have ever witnessed in an entertainer. Absolutely amazing. You had me laughing out loud about your friend stooping down! I am 6' & did the sam thing, except I hunched down more than stoop, if I hadn't, my pic would have been of Elliotts' face & my chin! :rotfl:

So happy that you got to meet Elliott, isn't he just the greatest? Sorry about your experience in Milwaukee. When I saw him in Minneapolis, security changed "the rules" . People in the 1st half of the line got numerous pics and autographs, the 2nd half of the line had to choose, a pic OR an autograph. I guess security didn't want to be there all night, LOL. My Madison experience was very different, security was much more laid back.
