I love your pictures! The one with your sister is adorable. Russell is so serious and sexy. That last one of Elliott is one of the best pictures of him yet. He's so sweet looking. I just love his hair and eyes. You really captured him.

Yay! I'm glad everyone liked the pics! They aren't as up close and personal as judyp's sweaty shots, so I wasn't sure.

I would have enjoyed meeting up with you wowhesgood and judyp! I hadn't lurked the boards in a while and it didn't occur to me to see if anyone was posting that might be at the Tulsa show. I'm sure you heard me though! I was obnoxiously hoopin' and hollering for Elliott the loudest! Tulsa is home for me and I wanted him to feel welcomed here, but I probably annoyed a lot of people standing in my vicinity. (hee,hee)

Yes, I LOVE that last shot too! I keep thinking "He was looking at ME with that sweet expression ..." My sister was in that pic too, but I lopped her off so she couldn't taint my fantasy. :awe:

"We loaded up the silver bullett and headed for Tulsa. Of all my touring, I have never been anywhere in Oklahoma actually so I was interested. We get to the venue and I walk in... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?! This is the coolest thing I've ever played in! Some of you may wonder why? See, I am born and raised in Nashville, and def know and respect certain artists that pioneered music. So I walked in and noticed this venue was rich in tradition. The place has been there for a looooong time. !st poster I see on the wall is from 1952 and you couldve seen Hank Williams for $1.25. Next poster, Roy Acuff, Bob Dillon, etc (you get the point)... as I was saying a few lines earlier ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! I GET TO PLAY ON A STAGE THAT PEOPLE SUCH AS THESE HAVE PLAYED? HOLY s***!!! (for lack of better term) haha. It might not have meant as much to anyone else, but where I am from it meant a hell of a lot to me! In Nashville we have the Ryman Auditorium which is probably the most famous venue I have ever wanted to play in, and this reminded me of a smaller version of that sort of. Thanks to all the people at Cains Ballroom, and the crowd was smaller but as usual louder than most! Awesome night, and Im glad I shared it with all of you who were there too! THANK YOU!"

Yea, Cains is a very, very cool venue. Has lots of character, warmth and great karma. It was totally awe inspiring to see the artists that had played there.
