Sorry I'm late but I've been spending a lot of time with Amanda at St. Judes. Okay here goes.

Tammy (Amanda's Mom), Barbie and I got to the venue a little before 7pm. There was a sign on the door that said that doors would open at 9pm. I saw Ollie standing outside the bus so I went up to him. He remembered me. Earlier that day at St. Judes, Elliott told me that his bass player loved me that I had sent him a message on myspace or something like that. I had sent him a picture I took from Innsbrook. Anyway Elliott said that Ollie knew I was going to be at the concert. I'm like so unreal, I'm dreaming this,

There was a restaurant/bar so we went inside and some of the band members from all acts were in there eating. We went and sat down and then I saw Elliott. He came and stopped by this table. I went up to him and he said that he had just gotten back from doing a radio thing. Then I saw who he was talking to, it was Josh. I turned from Elliott, yelled Josh and hugged him. LOL

BTW, Elliott eats. :awe:

Josh was laughing and said, "you just dissed the man". Elliott was laughing with his hands out saying "excuse me". Than Elliott hugged me and thanked me for the Harley shirt that I had given Brandon to give to him.

I introduced Tammy and Barbie to Josh, then we went back and had a couple of drinks and relaxed and just watch people interact with E before he had to go do sound check.

The bus was parked right in front of the venue and we saw Brandon get off the bus and go back into where Elliott was. He then came back out and found us. Elliott told him where we were.

I saw Aaron outside so I went out and he recognized me except he calls me Harleygirl. I kinda like that. I pointed to his shirt which was a Harley shirt and he said, "I had one on the first time I met you, didn't I?"

I am not believing that these guys remember me. It blows my mind. Elliott knowing who I am blows my mind.

So the show starts late, some tech difficulties with Josh's equipment at first, so he just comes down and sits right at the edge of the stage and sings his first song with no mic. He was awesome. He's so much fun.

Part TWO

Josh was so funny, said he was in love with Elliott and that he was a good kisser. That boy is a mess, in a good way. :rotfl:

Then TLG take the stage, they are REALLY good. Loved them, so much energy. Ollie was standing behind me teasing them and cheering for them. I turned around and looked at him and he said "I just love these guys". They were having fun playing off each other. TLG kept giving props to Josh and then they asked how many people wanted to see Elliott, and for a small crowd, we were LOUD on that one. :rotfl:

They cleared the stage of TLG's equipment and set up for Elliott. They took a little while, a little bit of tech difficulties again I believe.

Anyway, in this venue, the band has to come through the place to get to the stage, so we saw Elliott coming Jaime was with him. She is so much fun to watch when E is performing.

The band had a lot of energy. Elliott was really into it. The stage was really big after all the other equipment was gone. During "Love Will Find a Way" Elliott acted like he was being blown by the wind across he stage. What a cut-up. LOL

When he got to "Free" (as I posted in Amanda's thread), he dedicated to Amanda Jones. Amanda had told Elliott that Free was her favorite and it had gotten her through a lot. Free was playing during her bone morrow transplant. He also recogized Tammy, Amanda's mom, and said he was glad that she had come and was able to get out for a while because she so deserved it.

Side note here, Tammy spends every day with Amanda, she's awesome.

End of Part TWO.

I might be weird but I don't want him to KNOW me.My first time ever even being a fan on this level..I feel like enough of a stalker just posting on a message board LOL.

Nice to see them having a meal.I read somewhere they were starving with only peanut butter and crackers to eat.

Part THREE

I'm doing this in parts because I'm afraid I'll lose what I've typed if I try to do too much in one post.

Anyway, Elliott sings STNT and I know I've read about his moves but DAMMMMMMM! Oh forgot, during LWFAW, Kurtis is out there just giving Elliott cheers. I loved that. You can really tell that these guys admire and respect each other. Also, Brandon is looking like he's on top of the world being there. I went up to him during Train Wreck because that's his favorite, so I'm standing there with him, Jaime, and Kurtis. People looked over at me like who's she.

So Elliott finishes with MO, as we all know. I looked behind me and there was Josh. So Josh takes my hand and starts dancing with me and pointing to Elliott. Elliott is trying to sing and keep from laughing but he's smiling so big. Again, people are looking at me, like who's she. I have no idea why all this good stuff was happening but it was and I was having the time of my life.

Okay, people, you're going to love this. During our dance, Josh was also pointing at Russell because the beginning of a smile was there (yes he knows there is talk about his not smiling), then Russell kinda half laughed. I pointed at him jumping up and down and he smiled again. :rotfl:

Sway came out onto the floor during Movin On and he and Elliott were really getting into singing the song. They left the stage and Elliott didn't come back out for ASFY. This may have simply been a way of saving his voice. ASFY is a very demanding song vocally.

End of Part Three.

Awesome reviews Harley - you are so lucky and I'm so jealous!!! I've never even met Elliott - I think I'm the only E-trainer who hasn't met him. Anyway, I hope you are right about his not singing ASFY because he's preserving his voice. I'll see him again in Norfolk and I hope he's all recovered by then and can do it again. Maybe - just maybe it'll be my chance to also meet him. :awe:

Part FOUR

Oh, forgot that during FREE, I called Amanda but when we got back to St Judes, she said she couldn't hear anything. If anyone got this on tape please post it.

We're standing around because Brandon told us to wait. Elliott had promised some stuff for Amanda. Others are waiting to see if Elliott comes back to the merchandizing table. I stepped outside because it was so hot in that place.

Brandon and Elliott are coming back off the bus. Elliott sees me and stops and walks over to me and gives me a big hug and asks if I liked my dance with Josh. LOL I couldn't lie, YES I DID! LOL. Brandon told me they were talking about the dance on the bus.

Elliott then went in and gathered some stuff for Amanda, took the time to write a long message to her on one of his shirts. Autographed a CD for her. He hugged Tammy and Barbie. I'm standing there just waving goodbye to him and he says HarleyWoman, come here, and hugs me and says he'll see me in Birmingham and kissed me on the cheek.

Then we say our goodbyes to Jaime. She is one of the sweetest people. Then we head back to St Judes to tell Amanda all about it. Tammy eyes were shining so bright. She is now a bonafide Elliott Yamin fan, loves him and his voice. Amanda goes, I told you MOM!

End of my story.

That's quite a story.I would be interested to know about the actual concert and how his voice sounded.,crowd reaction,did he sign for the other fans who had maybe never met him and were waiting?

Jaime had said earlier that she has to watch gaining weight because she's with someone that eats everything in the room. :rotfl: Then Elliott says, anybody know any good barbeque places and the nurses give them some places to check. LOL

harleywoman, did Elliott do any signing after the show outside?? when I left he had
not came out yet and there where some fans waiting to meet him. One girl wanted me to take a picture, but I had to go. :(
I did see Elliott and Jamie in the bar and was yelling at him. He was like: who is
this crazy woman?? He smiled at me and waved as I blew him a kiss.
I don't want him to think I am a stalker, that is why I am not running to up Nashville
to see him again friday. though I have thought about it.

Sounds like I missed a good time...sorry to say. I wish I could've been there to meet you and see Amanda, but being sick with pneumonia it's not a good idea to be around her this time. I will give her a call.

Hey girl. Yes he did, when he came off the bus he said let's go in here and sign some autographs. He jsut took care of us first because Tammy had to get back to Amanda. The others waiting were very patiient. I feel that they knew what was going on and who Tammy was because of Elliott's dedication. Elliott had pointed out Tammy before.
