Me and my SIL will be at Harrisburg, Our seats our 1st row and center, I just looked at the Witaker Centers site, and alomst all the sections are sold out!!!! That's awesome, so I was wondering how many E-trainers are going to be there?!?!
cfans - October 26, 2007 01:56 PM (GMT)
I'll be there with some of my friends. We're in Row B, center orchestra. That means with the three rows of seats added in the front, we'll be in the fifth row.

I will be there with husband and 3 kids. I didnt get my tickets until late because I didnt realize my kids HAVE NO SCHOOL THAT DAY OR THE NEXT!!!! Sheesh-- wish I would have known sooner-- but that is why we are going-- it's prefect! I got balcony 3 seats 1st row and 2 seats directly behind the 3-- they wouldnt let me buy 5 across so i figured this would be fine-as long as the kids sit in the 1st row they will have no trouble seeing. Lauren and cfan (its carol--right?-- I am so bad with names)-- I will see you guys there!!!!! Now you get to meet the rest of the family-- LOL
I will be looking for you before the show--
feel free to message me and let me know your plans
see you soon- :elliottelliott:

Robyn,
We'll be looking for you! I didn't know until after we got our tickets, that my daughter didn't have school Thu or Fri either! I wish I did, b/c I would have taken her!!! She went with me to Six Flags, and I was hoping so bad that she could meet him, but we didn't get to that night, she was upset. I feel bad. but, what can I do? Right??
Anyway, I'm not sure what time we'll decide to get there, it's not too far a drive for us, so we'll see. I'll be in touch!

No School? Well that's not the case here.. and I'm actually going to take my son out of school early that day, so I can get there earlier. I'm still not sure if my older son and his gf are coming. Love to meet you all there. Glad you're going robyn and cfans (you said you might not make it because of work).
Now to write up my list of things to bring :).

I'm definitely going to be there! My schedule worked out and I'm getting back from my Tuesday-Wednesday business trip just before midnight Wednesday night. I may have to travel out again on Friday, but it will all be worth it.
I'm looking forward to meeting up with everyone inside the theatre. I have a couple of meetings downtown at my office in the morning, but am hoping to get back home in the afternoon to prepare something delicious for the guys. Anyone else planning on bringing food for the band?
Robyn - I'm looking forward to meeting your family. You almost got my name right - I'm Carolyn. Itslate is Carole. The balcony seats are third level, but no seat is very far from the stage. You'll still have a great view.
What time is everyone planning on getting to the Whitaker? The really nice thing about the Whitaker is no one has to wait outside. There are very large areas inside to wait until the doors to the Sunoco Theatre open.
If anyone needs directions or has questions about where to park, let me know. There is parking on some of the streets surrounding the Whitaker, but none directly in front. The Walnut Street Garage is close by and accessible without having to go outside.

Thanks cfans for the parking hints, I didn't even think of that. Guess I'll go for the parking garage myself. Can you tell me what street it's on? I google the hall again.
I wonder what the weather will be like, need to check. Was hoping to find a bus maybe. :) I have a picture I wanted E to sign. No other need to get there too early when you already have a seat. This hall sounds wonderful.

Directions for parking at the Walnut Street Garage:
Get off of I-83 at the 2nd Street exit. Make a right onto Market Street (the "Square" which is simply an expanded bus area with a large clock on the sidewalk) will be on your right as you approach Market Street. (I think it's the third light after you get onto Second Street - the first is at Washington (I think); the second at Chestnut, and then the third at Market, but I could be off by a light.) As you make the turn, the Hilton Hotel will be on your left. Make a left down the alley immediately after the hotel (the alley is actually between the hotel and the Whitaker Center). You will see the directional signs for the parking garage.
Once you park, find the elevator and get off on the floor for the Strawberry Arcade (the third building attached to the garage is called "Strawberry Square". It's been a couple of years since I rode the elevator, so it may have been changed to "Hilton" or "Whitaker". When you get off the elevator, go straight and then turn right. Follow the hallway which will take you through the second floor of the hotel. Continue walking this hallway until you have to turn left - this is the connecting hallway to the Whitaker Center. When you come out of this hallway, you will be on the second level of the Whitaker.
If you can take a bus, it will let you off on the corner of 2nd and Market. Just look for the Hilton, turn right onto Market and then you'll see the Whitaker.
