First off, thanks to Barbie who had an extra ticket which allowed me to go to the concert. Barbie and I get to the venue about an hour early. Right away, I spot AngELL and SandyB (thank goodness for pics on here). We go over to say hello and were asked to join them and their husbands. We had a blast. You gals rock!

The show starts on time and there is a real good crowd. I really liked this venue. Josh is great. I'm really loving his new single "Try". He gets ready to sing his 'stalker" song and says that Russell has complained about not having a song dedicated to him or something like that. So Josh dedicates "Work That Body" to Russell. It was really funny. At least I think that's how it happened, I had had a free shot and a beer at that point and no food. :rotfl:

TLG takes the stage. I love these guys. I love to watch Ely on the keys. The crowd is into them and also getting bigger. Either I had had too much to drink or they didn't sing "Pictures of You".

Okay by the time Elliott takes the stage, the placed is packed. He thanks Workplay for having him back. He also acknowledges that LiMBO is in the audience. He talked about them and his first solo concert and how awesome it was that they were there for his show. He also had some other friends in the
audience as well.

Elliott was so "on" for this concert. He was unbelievable. He really worked each song. The crowd was so into him. People were moving, cheering, really getting into his songs. It was a beautiful thing to see.

The band was rockin is all I can say. I just love watching Aaron and Sway. They are so into the music. Elliott did his full playlist. ASFY was brilliant as usual. But each time he sings it you feel like you're hearing it for the first time.

After Elliott's encore, he thanked some people and then he acknowledged the E-Trainers that were there (Yeah us!) and also acknowledged Brandon. That was awesome for him and so deserved (love you B-Man). Elliott left the stage and said he would be at the merchandise table in a few.

I didn't get in line at first because I had had so much time with him in Memphis, but then I thought better of it. Barbie had gone out after Josh's set and talked to him and then came back in and told me that Josh was going to kick my a*s because I didn't come out and say hi to him. So out I went. LOL

So I'm thinking, Elliott knew I was going to be in BH, so it wouldn't have been right if I didn't say hi. Also, I hadn't gotten a pic of him and I or his autograph at any of the concerts.

Elliott is such a sweetie, he asked me about Amanda. He said he saw me up and moving (he did his hip move at this point :thud: ). He then asked me if I noticed how hard a time he was having in Memphis to keep from laughing when Josh was spinning me around. :rotfl: I got a pic and an autographed picture.

Thanks HW...or should I now refer to you as HG??? Love the recap. Thanks for posting all the details :)

When I saw Aaron in BH, he said HarleyGirl and corrected himself and said HarleyWoman. :rotfl:

Hmmmm... I kind of like Harleygirl. It's cute! I might have to call you Harleygirl from now on...lol. So happy for you - it sounds like you had an amazing time! I hope you had a good singing partner with you in B-ham! I was wondering though - wasn't LiMBO advertised as playing at this show?

It was awesome getting to meet Harleywoman and Barbi and IndianAngel and her son--even LovingEphraim for a few moments!! We had a fabulous time and will hope to put a recap sometime on this and the New Orleans concert before we leave for the Orlando concert. Sandyb got us the greatest table and hope some of our photos will come out for all of you to see! Both concerts were ELECTRIC LOVE!! Gee, have I died and gone to heaven? We had the BEST time including more hugs with Elliott--the best moments of both evenings!
Then we went to breakfast this morning with Grover and Charlie and found that Sandyb and I both had on the same brand-new black Elliott T-shirts, hahaha! Wow!! What a great 2 days (plus the Red Sox won their first 2 of the World Series against the almost unbeaten Colorado Rockies! God is smiling on us for sure!) Much love to all you wonderful fans too--love you all--much fun with Sandyb, Onlyforelliott, Harleywoman, IndianAngel, Barbi, Laura and Sarah, LovingEphraim and just everyone--including B-Man--what a guy!! Yaaaay, ETrain!

They were but I think when TLG joined the tour, that changed. There wouldn't have been enough room on the stage for all the equipment. LOL

woooooooooooooohooooooooooooo!! another wonder recap..even TWO (from AngELL too!) and you both deserved every moment of joy you experienced!! For all that you do...this E's for you!!! or at least he was, at those shows...lollllll;) LOVES TO YOU BOTH!!! YAYYYY!! ;)

I can't even begin to express what a great time we had with all the Elliott,
Brandon and all the Etrainers. I'm with you all. I feel like I died and went to heaven! DH had great pics but with my computer fried and this old laptop, I can hardly write a comment without throwing a tantrum.

I appologize to all for not being able to get on here before now to post/reply to all the recaps, posts..etc.

I have to say that I am still "floating in the clouds" from the Oct. 24, B'ham, AL-Workplay Theatre concert!! First, right as I got seated at the table in comes Angell...she starts to say "Are you..." and I am so sorry Angell...I cut off your words, because I immediately recognized you..so I responded by saying "my Angell!!!" Meeting some of my E-train family was wonderful! All of you ladies (and DH and SandyB's hubby) was already a wonderful experience.....I only wish I had of made more "fingers" for all of the E-train family that happened to be there and I wish I could have STAYED and spent more time getting to know each and everyone of you better! I have some pretty decent pics from my digital camera since we were seated at side by side tables and will do my best to get them posted as soon as possible....but the photos of Elliott on stage weren't all that great, the smoke that filled the room before Elliott came out really didn't make for great picture taking....I did get some nice shots of TLG performing on stage, and got a great picture of Josh when he stood right below me while Elliott was performing (he was watching Elliott perform, and I wouldn't have seen him if Elliott hadn't of verbally said something to the fact that he was there....way tooooo cool!!!!) Hopefully my 35mm zoom pictures will turn out alot better, just gonna take some time to get them developed and scanned, etc...but I will post as soon as I do!
Since this was the first time that I have seen Elliott in person...I think I kinda made a fool of myself...I couldn't shut up and he was such a sweetheart!! Hopefully my son was able to take some good snapshots with my camera, 'cause he took some while I was *googling* over Elliott and then when Elliott posed with me...I think I even took one of Elliott with my son.............my brain is in such a "fog" since I've seen Elliott..lol
I loved all the performances!! Josh was so funny and I love his sound....he made comments about kissing Elliott, but he hadn't yet kissed any of TLG but he would keep us updated....too funny! He better watch it, I've heard that their kiss is poisonous :D, their CD is awesome....my son and I have to alternate listening to CD's now......Elliott, Josh, Elliott, TLG, Elliott....lol They did sing Pictures of You at B'ham and after seeing, meeting and talking with Elliott and getting run off by the security guard (lol) I got to meet, talk to and get hugs from members of TLG....oh how sweet they are; I think that Elliott's heart is rubbing off on all that he is around!!.........Oh and then, I kinda got Elliott all to myself again!!! There wasn't a line and he was just standing there, I don't think he was feeling too well and I was really concerned; he kept looking at his "pump" and it was making a beeping noise...I pray that he takes care of himself out on the tour (and forever)...but he still kept staying for his fans and kept that gorgeous smile on his face. He commented on the "finger" that I had made and wore during his concert, so I had to give it to him...I just hope he realizes how AMAZING that he truly is! And thanks to E, I have met all of you here on the E-train and happily met some of the greatest people in the world!!

wow, thanks for your wonderful recap indianangel4ever!! Sounds like you had some wonderful, quality time with Elliott (from what you can remember..teehee...). I'm very happy that you were able to meet him. I can't wait to see your pictures. That Josh is something else, too isn't he?? I haven't been able to hear or meet TLG yet...soon though.


Prayers for Elliott and his health, cause the man gives more of himself than anyone I know!!

Hey Sherry. I was sitting with AngELL right beside you. You were having the best time. Thanks for clearing it up on Pictures of You, I swear I must have been in a daze at the point. LOL I couldn't believe that they didn't sing it.

Elliott's pump has some sort of alarm on it, as I understand it. That's actually good because he can take care of his sugar levels before anything bad happens or something like that. I really believe Elliott is taking care of himself.

:grouphug: HarleyWoman, it was so great meeting you also...matter of fact I've gotten some pretty good pictures of you, SandyB, AngELL, SandyB's hubby and only the backside of DH (AngELL's hubby)...and I don't know the other E-train family lady that I got in one of the pictures, but I can truly tell that she's one of "us" :) I wish that we could have put our tables together, or that I could have been seated right next to y'all, but then DH and I would probably have been bumping chairs...lol..........but I'm glad that we got seated as closely as we did, also hoping that it won't be the last time that I get to see and meet more of my E-train family! :1word: :grouphug:
I was about ready to throw my chair away and get down there right at that stage when Elliott was performing...LOL (Never would have been able to stand that long :thud: ).....but Elliott made it all worthwhile!!!! :awe:
