I looked throgh several threads and don't see nay mention of Open House Party. This is a syndicated program carried by several stations across the country on saturday and Sunday evenings.. It would be great if we can get people to call or email reuests through website.

we did regularly call into open house party when wait for you was moving up the charts. we had some fun nites encouraging each other to call and making fun of some of the really bad pop music out then.

many of us have decided to wait just a bit for "one word," though i think it could help to start calling in a bit more for it this coming weekend.

yeah, i'm hoping to help out this weekend since i forgot the last. I think it starts at 8pm?

Update: never got thru, so i ended up emailing the request in. wasn't able to keep listening much to hear if it got played.

don't think he's gonna get played tonite. i think we can start upping the requests next weekend, though two weeks from now is more likely.

It might be still too early. They do not like to play songs which are not popular enough. I think I will probably join you next week. Please let us know if they play OW or WFY (if you're listening).

not yet. I will check tomorrow on wjbq website as it shows all songs played for 24 hours.

got through already, yay! 8:35ish. a girl answered and i asked for One Word. she said ""Wait For You"? i said that would be fine, "but the song i'd really love to hear is OW".

btw, has there been another more active thread somewhere on the site about requesting at OHP? i thought there was, but can't find it now.

I really think this is the weekend for open house party. The Saturday show is broadcast about 30 miles from where Elliott will be doing a concert at the Roxy. I am hoping Elliott will be able to go there either before or after he goes on. :elliottelliott: :1word: :grouphug:
