Yes I heard also that E was not feeling well that night. The lady at the table selling shirts told me that E usually announces at the end of the show if he will be available for autographs after the show. My husband and I hung around just in case since we came up just for the show and stayed overnight. There were four other girls waiting near the front of the club for him but no show. I did get to meet E's mom and she was very warm and didn't mind talking to us. I asked her if she heard he was sick and she told me she hadn't heard that but that he was probably exhausted. He had to get up at 4 am. to do a radio show interview that morning. She eventually went back into the club because E wasn't coming out the front door. We then moved to the back of the club and waited near the buses. Josh Hoge was very nice to his fans though there were only about 10-15 of us. A girl told us she saw E ride out in a taxi but he probably did not want to stop and chat with us. So I was a bit sad since I wanted an autograph and to talk to him but life goes on. I was really stoked I got to meet Claudette though. She is really a nice lady!! She is extremely proud of her son and asked us if we enjoyed the show.

Oh, dear, so sorry you missed him this time, but thank you for posting--and welcome to ETrain! Don't give up and i'm sure you will get your opportunity. When he is able to meet the fans, he is the sweetest and most gracious of all the stars out there and can't do enough for his fans!

Welcome, Takai! Sorry you didn't meet Elliott this time around...hopefully, you will one day!! Some of his fans took a second time around before they eventually met him. You had the next best thing in Claudette, though! :welcome:

Thanks for all the greetings and encouraging words.
E really perfromed 100% that night so I am not surprised he would be so exhausted. He made a nice plea to the audience to support the Juvenile Diabetes organization and told us how he could not imagine how people could survive without money for insulin. At times his voice sounded tired but he continued on and it would strengthen once again. His Donny Hathaway song at the end was a knockout performance. Chills!!!
