I'm not sure if this is the place to put this, but I did get to meet Sway, The Last Goodnight, and Elliott!

Pretty much my parents weren't planning on doing much for me, except my mom was going to drive near the N Club around 8:30 and see if we can hear anything. We get there and the front is crowded, and I start getting all emotional. So my mom finds a parking spot down the street and says,"Go walk down there if you want, and you can take the dog if you want too."

Grabbing Q (the dog :D) I get out and walk down the street. But instead of going across to the front of the club, I turn and walk down the other street, sprint across it into a parking lot. And like I had guessed Elliott's bus was right there! I walk up to it - planning on slipping a note I had written in the door, and found Sway and this other guy in there, and I knock on the door. So they come out and I say,"Hi, where's Elliott?"

And the guy who wasn't Sway (idk who it was D: ) says,"Are you family?"
I say,"No." And he replies,"Then I don't know where he is." Then Sway gets out and I ask him, he doesn't know either. And then the drummer of the Last Goodnight comes out and I ask him, and he gives the same answer.

I don't remember what they asked exactly, but my answer was,"I'm 15 and it's a 16 and over concert, so I was hoping to meet Elliott since I can't see him." And they're all like,"Aw, I don't know where he is."

Then there was this awkward pause where I'm just watching what's going on, and the guy who asked if I was family asked my dog's name and petted him. And the Last Goodnight drummer asks the same thing and I reply,"Q. And who are you?" (I was nervous and that makes me terribly blunt. I like The Lst Goodnight but I can't recognize them.) And he says,"The drummer of the Last Goodnight."

He leans down to pet Q, and Q shies away and I'm like,"Give him this." And pull out a treat, and he gives it to him. It was awesome... like, hot celebrities feeding my dog :D

Other things happen... like I give the note to Sway to give to Elliott, and I'm told to come back in around 45 minutes so I could maybe meet Elliott. When I get back to the car and tell my mom all this she warns me"Chances are he won't be there." And I just get all nervy and wait, and at 9:45 I get back out. I was super nervous about going back, because if Elliott wasn't there I was going t feel stupid.

I walk down there and I'm told Elliott's behind the buses, and when I look he's there with 2 or 3 other girls. They were dressed in sleeveless shirts in 45 degree weather while I'm wearing a baggy hoody, and I'm regretting not changing before I came back when Elliott says,"Hi."

And I say,"Hey Elliott... can I um, hug you?"
And he's like,"Sure!"
And we hugged and it was like, the best thing ever. Then I pull out my notebook and ask him if he can sign the inside, and he says,"Sure sweetie." And in my head I'm thinking,"Omg, he called me sweetie!"
I say thanks and he looks over at Q and says,"Nice dog." And I'm like,"Thanks!" And I trip over the leash and like an idiot I go,"Haha I'm tripping over my dog!"
The rest I don't remember well, but I think it was along the lines of me saying thanks, and I don't remember what he said, but I think it was thanks too.

And I get back to the car and it's been only 5 minutes, but those 5 minutes were the best day ever.

I'm so happy for you! My meeting E was pretty much the same. It's called E-amnesia. You forget your name, where you are, everything you are trying to say. Etc, etc.

I was also hoping that you would get to meet Elliott. I'm very happy for you. Did you have your camera with you?

Aww. .. I have a big cheesy grin on my face from reading that. I was thinking about you last night & hoping you would have an 'encounter' of some kind... & you did it !! What did your mum have to say after you told her what happened?? Did Elliott like Q?

Ya gotta be persistent! Elliott said so!

There's a picture of the autograph (The best day ever thing was written after XD) When I asked him to sign it he was like,"Where?" and I actually think he read some of the stuff XD

And thanks every who replied and stuff, you guys are so awesome and I hope I'll be able to meet some of you at another concert :D

(Oh and 8/12/07 is when I first got the notebook... I kind of have this thing where I'll get a notebook and use it for all sorts of things like notes, school notes, doodles and writing cheesy stories XD)

My mom just smiled and was like,"GOOD FOR YOU :D"
And Elliott liked Q, but Q didn't care about Elliott at all. He was actually trying to sniff some guy near the bus. and that's why I tripped over him lol.

You know I was afraid that if I didn't meet Elliott now I might not like him as much next time he came back (because my celebrity fan thingys tend to be evanescent) But now that I met him I'm just permanently a fan of his. So many other celebrities probably could have cared less about me meeting them or not, but when I met Elliott he was so genuine and friendly and when he spoke to me it wasn't some celebrity to not famous person type thing. Not to mention he was hot too (and omg he's so short, I'm like exactly his size!)

Awwww, I am so happy for you. And what a great mom you have that she was willing to wait those extra 45 minutes for you.

I'm soooo happy for you, Audra!!! Not that many people get to meet Elliott. You are a very lucky girl! You got to meet Elliott, talk to him (I was a little nervous when I met him, too!), you got a HUG, he called you "Sweetie" and you got his autograph that you'll have forever. You gave Sway the note for Elliott that I know he gave to him. And, you'll never forget this experience! Elliott loves dogs and he probably thought you were smarter in your hoodie in 45 degree weather than those other girls going sleeveless. And, just think, it won't be that long before you WILL be able to go to one of his concerts!!! Way to go and I'm sure your mom is really happy that you had this E-ncounter!!! i love the total randomness of you meeting him..i love it when there is no special access involoved and normal fans get to meet and have their time with Elliott..this is totally how it should be...congrats on meeting him!

What a GREAT story! Silly Q, though, for sniffing after someone other than Elliott??

So cool that you got to meet and chat with him. He truly is such a doll - and genuinely enjoys meeting everyone. I don't think there's much of a chance of anyone ever meeting him and coming away disappointed by the encounter!
