Does anyone know if the JCC in Richmond will be a regular show or more like an interview type setting??

I have my tickets. It will be held at The Collegiate School in the Oates Theater. I can't wait! It is my understanding that he will sing and speak.

Me too... I didn't see any other price level besides $45.00. My understanding is that the auditorium is on the small side, so they're billing it as "An Intimate Evening With Elliott" (LOVE that idea!!) and I would imagine the tix will sell out FAST! Friends at work have gone to several of the other Weistein JCC Forum events and told me that there are no bad seats.

I ordered mine almost 2 months ago, but the tix just came in the mail a week or two ago.

I can confirm what Nancy said-Elliott will talk, Q & A, and sing. There will be a general audigraph signing an hour or less before the start of the show. It will be a first-come-first-serve sort of arrangement. Darcy Warren of the JCC of Richmond told me that E was VERY generous and loyal to the organization. She said that he is speaking at a greatly reduced price-why am I NOT surprised? A sweetie and a true friend as usual-remembers his roots!

Linda and I are going as well. I paid $45.00 for my tickets which I ordered the first part of September.

I'm taking my little girls and am hoping this will FINALLY be their chance to meet Elliott and get a pic. I'll never forget my oldest standing outside the meet and greet at the state fair asking me if she could go in. When I told her we weren't on the list, she got tears in her eyes but looked up at me and said "It's okay Momma. Someday I'll get a chance." I figure this is my best chance for my little people.

Yep, I paid $45 per ticket also. But, there was no option about seating. Guess they just send out tickets with assigned seating??

I wanted to go to the Norfolk show....but didn't know if this "old man" could handle standing for the entire show.

Wifey & I went to the Norfolk Idol show and we also went to the State Fair of Virginia show. "E" was great at both! I've seen some of the videos online since he started touring...looking forward to seeing him live again.

I emailed the Cultural Arts Director for JCC about the show.
This is the email I received from Darcy Warren.(Cultural Arts Director for JCC):

"He will be speaking for about 30 minutes, then do a Q & A and then he will perform two songs. I hope this helps."

What DVD? There isn't one to my knowledge. I have no problem with just two songs. To me, it's also about the man. :)

I would like to send out a special thanks to Suzanne AKA Vacellist, she has given me a ticket to the JCC event!!! We are going together and I am very excited, as I truly did not think I would be able to attend. We are also planning to join the group at the Piccadilly on Sunday morning!!!
