I finally caught up with the manager of Kelly's yesterday...This is what we have come up with...
(Hopefully we have covered everyones pallet)

COST - $15 per person includes gratuity for food...PLEASE bring "cash"
We will collect money at the entrance to the upstairs.

TIME - 3:30 til 4:30 Etrain social hour...Appetizers and happy hour drinks
(Several domestic beers & well brand high ball drinks $2.00)

APPETIZER MENU - Nachos Grande, Hot Crab Dip, Chicken wings, Fried cheese
Chicken bites, & Stuffed jalapeno poppers

DINNER - 4:30 til entry to the Norva (Happy hour is from 4-7pm)

BUFFET MENU - Crab Cakes, Grilled Chicken Breast, Carolina Pulled BBQ
(Make your own sandwiches optional)
Tossed salad, Potato salad, Coleslaw and their award winning
Creamy Crab Soup

BEVERAGES INCLUDED - Coffee, tea & soft drinks

NOTE: There will be 2 servers waiting on our group...IF you choose to take advantage of the alcoholic beverages...
(PLEASE be sure to include additional gratuity...)

OHHHHHHH I almost forgot...Kelly's is going to play Elliott's DVD on their big screen TV while we are there!!!

We will all receive early entry into the NORVA...The Etrain will line the front of the stage to show our love and support for "Our Funky White Boy" This is a general admission show...No seating available, so be sure to wear "Comfy" shoes.

With that all said and done...I am getting more & more excited each day!!!

Only 9 days left...Man we have waited A LOOOOONG time for this...
It is going to be an EEEEEEEEEE celebration like no other!!!

Just an after thought...That I need to mention...

The reasons we have changed to a buffet at Kelly's.

TIME: Kelly's is sold out with reservations on Sunday evening. We have a group of 50+ people coming. It would be a time factor for them to take everyones orders and serve everyone before the Norva doors open. By having the buffet it is relieving pressure on them and allowing us to have a much more relaxed atmosphere to socialize.

ROOM: The upstairs is not an exceedingly large room. There is room for about 45 people to sit comfortably...BUT we have gone over that number, so we will have to play "musical chairs" to allow everyone an opportunity to sit to eat.
Again...this is giving us an opportunity to mingle and socialize together.

ALCOHOL: We will have 2 servers waiting on our group...Try to make it easy for them to re-locate you with your order. (Slow down...don't move tooooo fast...LOL) Also, just a reminder...The $15 does not include alcohol.
Pay as you go and PLEASE don't forget to add a little extra for gratuity.

With that all said & done...Everything is coming together better than I ever expected!!! When I first initiated the pre concert dinner at Kelly's, I was clueless that there was going to be a recording done at the Norva! Nancy and I caught wind of it during our journey to Norfolk a few weeks ago...But were not at liberty to share the info.

This is like "MAJOR" icing on the cake!!!

Can someone please verify that i have the right info? I gathered this from various posts and want to be sure i didn't grab outdated information.

Meeting at 4:30 pm for the pre show gathering at Kelly's Backstage Tavern on 320 Granby Street.

Will go to the Norva straight from there for priority seating?
