Title: Alicia Keys - No One
Description: Is it just me?

mominny - November 4, 2007 05:34 PM (GMT)
Is anyone impressed with this song? I cannot stand it. It sounds off key the whole time and it just drags.....What am I missing? I think good music....but I just don't get her sound. It is painful to listen to on the radio.

:( I have to say I really like it...though it does sound like a 'money maker' if you know what I mean, I think you do. It's a more commercial sound than we are usd to from her but honestly she can do no wrong in my mind..she's so incredibly talented. I would love an Elliott /Alicia collaboration.

Alicia Keys is one of my favorite artist ever. At first listen, I have to admit, I was very disappointed by "No One". But, now I'm getting used to it and really beginning to like it. It really seemed different than her previous music. I think that is what caught me off guard at first.

I LOVE Alicia Keyes.....yet I have to say that I am not crazy about this song. It's a step down imo, from her previous songs.

The first a few times I heard it, I thought it was blah. But now I've kinda taken to it and quite enjoy the song. I do have to say though that she seems to have lost a bit of texture in her voice. She sounded amazing in her first album, and her vocals in No One don't seem to have the same brilliance as it did before.

I didn't like it either. But her new song is out, I like it much better! My favorite A .keys song is "you don't know my name!" <3

I have many favorite Alicia Keys songs so it's hard to choose a single one. But, if I had to choose it would either be "Butterflyz" from the "Drumline" Soundtrack. Or "Goodbye" from "Songs In A Minor".

I really like that song.

I wasn't backflipping over it at first, but I love it now, especially after seeing her performance at the MTV awards. She also has a "stripped" performance of it featured on Hot 99.5 's website and its AWESOME.. even the background singers ripped on this one, lol. If you go to the website, www.hot995.com type On Demand in the keyword field it will bring up her concert... ( you have to scroll down about midway and you will see the ad for it on the left) enjoy =)

This song is getting so much airplay..it is starting to grow on me a little. She performed it on the new show Cane 2 weeks ago.

I love Alicia Keys but I have to agree, it's not her best effort.
I'm getting her new album for Christmas though.
