Title: Katharine Mcphee - David Foster
Description: K's next CD?
May10787 - November 4, 2007 06:05 PM (GMT)
A friend of mine (who is a Katherine fan?) sent me an email asking if David Foster was going to produce Katherine’s next cd. It’s beyond me why she likes Katherine, but she is a friend so I forgive her for her odd taste, and I said I would let her know if I read anything about it. I don’t want to search the internet for obvious reasons (I’m lazy).
Sorry to put this on you but , here is my question . . .
Does anyone know, is the most obnoxious man on the planet going to produce the planet’s most annoying woman’s next cd?

I read somewhere about this as well. Apparently with the Warner Bros label. hmm....What happened to RCA? His music sounds all the same to me. He has to be the most egotistical guy I have ever seen. I guess people go to him when elsewhere does not work.
remember, remember, remember....Randy hated the arrangement but loved E!

I just LOVE how Elliott added the extra "remembers" on his cd version.
Take THAT dumb a$$ Foster!!!

As much as I dislike DF, I have to be thankful for his bringing Josh Groban to the world's attention.
:awe:

I went on amiannoying.com to see his profile...one of the things said "Most of the songs he's written sound like stuff you would hear in a grocery store"
Oh too true :rotfl:

:agreed: David Foster definitely has a big ego however I was impressed when Andrea Bocelli performed. I just had to get the song he sang. David and his daughter wrote the song.
While I am not sure if Kat is teaming up with him I would not be surprised as so many of these dirty old men dig the luscious Kat and I do not think it is for her musical attributes. :rotfl:

Kat's fine, and best if she does go the jazzy, smoky route.
We look forward to hearing her duet with Elliott come January.

I just heard Kat sing SSB on television preceding the Packers/Lions football game. She was superb. I loved it. One of the best rendentions I've ever heard. And she looked beautiful. That was a highlight for me. Glad to see Kat do so well.

Saw her, too. I would have rather listened to Elliott...but, it was still nice to know that she got to sing the SSB!

Oh gosh, I'm glad I didn't see her singing the NA...my turkey and stuffing would not have handled that too well in my tummy.

:rotfl: Hmmmmmm let's see, I don't like Kat,because she is definitely a brat and sometimes, her singing reminds me of a screeching bat! :rocker:

Thanks for posting. I thought the beginning was beautiful. It was simple and elegant with a few added runs with the lower register. Sadly, I felt she shouted and went off pitch when she belted, but it was ok.

Thanks for posting the youtube link of the SSB Kat sang. I listened to it today and thought the very first part was absolutely beautiful. But after that, it went downhill. I really wanted to like it, but some parts were way off and just made me cringe. She looked very, very beautiful as usual. I wish her nothing but the best. I think maybe it's a good thing she's working with D. Foster. They seemed to hit it off on ai. Maybe they will be able to work on this issue she has with songs getting away from her when she sings loud and forceful.

Kat and Foster can have each other. I lost all respect I had for him after the way he treated Elliott. Maybe if Elliott had big hooters and showed leg, Foster would have been more respectful of him, who knows?

Or if Elliott had a wardrobe malfuction.. :rocker: Like Ryan Seacrest said "McPhee would get votes from anybody with the volume turned down" on that performance! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I remember that week Chris and her got the top votes. I was thrilled that E was out of the bottom 3 but I was wondering why the heck he wasn't in the top 2 when he had blown the rest of them out of the water that week. I concluded it was due to the...
1. Teenage fangirl vote
2. The horny old man vote
