Title: Something That I Wanted To Share!

craxymonkey - November 4, 2007 07:37 PM (GMT)
There's this School newspaper at my school, and they sometimes go around the school interviewing people on subjects such as books, music, school sports, teachers, sports, etc. and i was one of the lucky ones! So was my friend, she was interviewed with the book Little Women. Hopefully it will show up on the November issue, we usually get it around the end of the month. Lastly, the person who interviewed me, just emailed me that article.. so i hope you enjoy! [i'm having problems with the picture.. its just a pic of his cd cover]

MUSIK CORNER

The artist that I think should be in the spotlight would be ELLIOTT YAMIN. He's so humble, sweet, down-to-earth, amazing, and all those awesome adjectives combined! Once you meet him, you'll be like he's the most humble guy that I have ever met and then turn into a pile of slop!

Smoke Signal interviewed Megan Chi, 10.
Smoke Signal: Have you ever met him? and How did you know him?
Megan Chi: Yes, on June 12, 2007! At Slim's in SF! I only met him for 20 seconds or so, because my mom kept saying that we had to go. I "known" him from American Idol season 5, and if it wasn't for my cousin, I would probably have never known him, for she was the one who told me about him in the early stage of Top 24. So thank you cousin!

SS: You say that he inspires you... why's that?
MC: Like I said before and he's probably the nicest guy I have ever met. He puts so much soul in music, and if it wasn't for him, I would have never listened to music. Before that, I stopped for about 7 years or so, and when I did listen to music, I was addicted to the Backstreet Boys!

SS: People are always judgemental with American Idols, is there anything you want to say that would make people less judgemental with Elliott?
MC: He's 90% deaf in his right ear and he can still carry a tone, which is AMAZING, like what Randy Jackson said! If you don't believe what I say, listen to Simon Cowell, who said that Elliott was potentially the best male vocalist in the history of AI!

SS: Anything else you want to add?
MC: He puts a smile on my face throughout the days of my pain of going through school. I listen to his music ALOT and talk about him alot too, even my friends say I'm a bit over-obsessed with him. And props to the ETRAINERS, YAMINIONS...for filling me up with all the Elliott news each and everyday! You guys rock!

SS: Anything else?
MC: Go get his debut and Christmas CD(exclusively at Target)! Trust me, you'll be surprised!

 Good job spreading the word about Elliott. I actually got to shake hands with him during the final 3 rehearsal on Season 5 and Elliott was indeed a joy to meet. He along with Taylor really showed how much he cares about the fans.

I just adore this guy! :heartbeat:
