so let's see.. bdog is draggin me out da door so i gotta run, but I just wanted to send some love to Elliott! Elliott was awesome last nite! I agree with Harley that I think E musta been bummed he didn't feel well.. we didn't get to say hi to him, but we were 3rd row center so we hope Elliott felt all the E luv we sent him! we drove 6 hrs roundtrip from jersey straight from work just to see him (and to wait in line to buy tickets when they went on sale..lol, we're hardcore Efans! lol) and got back at like 3am..sorry i haven't posted any recap yet..we were worried bout E and how he was feeling--we didn't want to bother him cuz we figured he was exhausted..we are in the far back of that awesome pic u took from the stage but b an i saw E sneeze and knew the poor sweetie needed to go take care of himself and decided not to even approach the stage afterwards. It was the 17th time we had seen E live, but the first time we're seeing this new leg of the second tour with few new band members and songs. beautiful theatre. had to be over 1000 folks there. we were screamin an jammin an cheerin and dancin in our seats! luved Alright, Movin On (omg! my fav!), E Took My Breath Away too! Was the first time we have heard him sing Free, and omg! Free was absolutely phenomenal! WoW!!! I was soo feelin it! Elliott is such a trouper to deliver such a fine performance under the weather--whatta guy! lotsa luv, E! hope u feel better real soon! get lotsa rest and fluids and nourishment! Little Ghetto Boy was totally jammin! Awesome! Loved it! Groovin! I love Train Wreck and I'm the Man too..it must have been particularly difficult to get that incomparable groove E delivers with these two sultry songs when under the weather, but E went for it. Find A Way was great! dug the funky live version of IILWYF.. we all sang Wait For You.. b and I loved the version of OW he sang too.. faster and more groovin, very tasty.. My only regret is I would have loved to have heard A Song For You instead of STNT, and I do really miss Elliott's incomparable version of Stevie's Livin For the City. The AI/MJ's recap mentions an 11 o'clock town curfew prevented an encore. We luv u Elliott! feel better sweetie! we all luv u and u bring brightness, soul, passion, joy and feeling to millions of fans around the world with your wonderful spirit. It's really tough to do a nitely concert tour grind and esp in winter (this is winter for me, lol..it's damn cold!) and on weeknite nov nites with a grueling schedule. I agree with Harley he didn't feel quite 100 % and wasn't himself, and there were problems with his mic too, which musta been pretty agravating for a performer, and Elliott has high standards for himself cuz he gives 150 % for his fans; but we wanted to encourage him to not be too hard on himself and to take care of himself with that grueling schedule and send him luv and let him know that he brought it and rocked the house! and man, oh man, did da E man look F I N E !! :thud: swoon! call da dr baby! that button down black shirt was smokin Hot!!! THUD!!! Elliott looked drop dead gorgeous!!!!!! I'll be thuddin for life!! we're hopin we got a few pics but bdogs draggin me off..back later! luv u E!!! u guys rock!!!! :bounce:

thanks, linda! oh man, ur not kidding! boy did he look hot in that black shirt! SMOKIN! I thought I was gonna die when he took the jacket off..omg! I think I started screamin from the third row! lol when E came out we weren't sure whether it was cool to get up and start dancin (cuz there were like a lot of seniors around and we didn't want them to be mad at us if we blocked their view), but the band encouraged us to get up and jam so we did! like the whole place was groovin to Alright when E came out--it was awesome! we wanted to be polite tho, I think everybody did, since folks spent 50 bucks for good seats and all, so we sat down and jammed in our seats after that.. but u know I woulda been dancin and standin but I wanted to let folks behind us see. We were esp jammin to Movin' on and Free.. I thought I was gonna launch outta my seat it was soo smokin! but I didn't want to ruin the view for folks behind us so I got down in my chair, lol.. we were seriously jammin in our section! it was hot! :thud: I am soo stoked to see u guys in NYC!!! I can't wait!!! :bounce:

thanks so much, music! yeah we had an awesome time! it was a blast! and u know Elliott--he still sounded absolutely fantastic! and yes, *extremely* thudworthy! oye! swoon! ;) whatta guy! u r the man, Elliott! we luv ya! i can't believe he was such a trouper and he was so great! (man, what kinda place doesn't have a hot shower for our fine E-man after the show, anyways.. total dark ages, man.. that is soo not cool for performers. I had to present something overseas once and there was no hot shower and I was pretty upset..and freezing cold..I can't even imagine what it was like for Elliott after singing his heart out and performing like that..and it was a cold rainy nite too. Hot showers and hot soup are like an essential moral imperative.)
