This is so exciting...I've got friends here from Boston visiting for the week...who had seen E on TV for AI but that's it..so of course I have to share all my new pics from the concerts, Christmas CD, youtubes, etc etc plus my E-mania hysteria! Gave my friend a CD and cookbook and now she seems almost as excited as me, hahaha!
Another friend here where I live--she started shrieking on the phone this morning when I told her I met E! (Had given her the EY CD for her birthday awhile ago)...Another friend says she's gonna blow up my pic with E to an 8x10..awwww!
Wouldn't it be nice if the whole world were Elliott fans?? It's getting to critical mass...gotta happen soon!

After I took my sister to Elliott's concert in Orlando she posted on our family website that "Elliott is every bit as awesome as Kathy says he is." It's hard to get people to take you seriously when you have this far-away look in your eyes when you talk about him. People have to experience him for themselves to really get it.

I agree so much with what you say. I always worry that I'm getting in the way of people in my life becoming fans of Elliott because I'm so crazy about him - time is solving that problem though - people who have laughed at me are coming sheepishly up to me now and saying, "I like Elliott - he's good". Well the truth is he so much more than good, but this is their embarrassed way of admitting that they like him to me - some people were almost cruel making fun of my obsession in the past. Now when I give "Elliott stuff" to people they are really excited and actually say "thank you".

I can not stop talking about Elliott!!
I swear every conversation I have some how I find a way to have Elliott in it.

Well. honestly, when we've been around this long you KNOW when a true phenomenon, a once-in-a-lifetime star comes along...It's only right that you let the whole world know about it--ot at least do your best to TRY! Don't mean to be "superior" at all, but there's no way a really young person can really KNOW that E is someone you will only find once in a long lifetime...you have to have been around awhile to realize the scope and immensity of what he brings!
