Wow - Carole - the pictures are great! You got the back of Tiggergirl in the last one in your album (John holding the setlist), and my friend Shirley is clearly recognizable looking right at you in the background.

This hall was wonderful, beautiful, and had great acoustics... I'm not rubbing it in. My only compaint was the lighting, but then again we all weren't suppose to be taking pictures. I meant to send you those pics of your friend John,but you got to see them. We have a new etrain recruit :).

When I met Russell earlier in the day, I asked him if he knew it was a sellout. He didn't. He had quickly looked in at the theatre, and wasn't particularly happy that it was a seating venue. He said that they don't like those as much because they liked the clubs where everyone is up standing close to the stage.

I think he might have changed his mind after Thursday. The atmosphere (at least in the front where I was seated) was electric. Most of the people in the seats put in front of the stage were on their feet at least part of the time. The acoustics were just top notch. Carole is right about the lighting, but they'll get that right next time. It was a great venue to sit back and just listen to the voice and watch his moves. Elliott no longer has "two left feet" as he was told in the Hollywood round.

Glad you like them. My trick is to take as many as my camera will hold lol, I get a few good ones that way.
