This is such an honor for Elliott, and he is so deserving. How I would love to be there, it's going to be an evening to remember. The brochure is beautiful-very well done.

Nancy, hope this doesn't sound ridiculous but......I would just love for there to be a TABLE of etrainers at this wonderful event. Do you think it could be possible for a fund to be set up and pledges made by those of us who can't attend to mail in checks toward the purchase of a table to be for the use of Elliott fans who would love to be there but the cost is not in their budget? If enough people would be interested in attending and enough interested in pledging, there would be adequate time for checks to be mailed and cashed since this is a March event.

Great idea! I would check with Brandon on this one. I'm willing to collect funds, or do anything possible to make this happen!

Nancy, You do so much already but if you are willing and Brandon gives his approval, I would be happy to start the ball rolling with a pledge of $20. But no one would want you to go out on a limb with your own money until the details got finalized and checks mailed to you.

I second this. I can't possibly plan my own work schedule that far ahead so I really can't go, but I'd be happy to chip in so that somebody else could.

Wow! Thanks all. Can someone PM Brandon? I am unable to do so right now. I have a Pay Pal account so it will be very easy to collect funds. The E-Train is full of such kind and giving people!

I'll call today, and then the rest we can work out, who's going, etc and people will just owe me from the fund (if that happens) or personally. The only thing is that I want 2 of the places so that leaves 8. At least we'll have the table and plenty of time to work it out.

That's great Harley - I can't see why there would be any objection to ETrain having a table at this gala. I wll go - I would go even if Elliott were not going to make an appearance, to support this cause. That's a really great idea, to support those who can't afford the pricy ticket - ETrain is the best!
Now we're going to have to think about whether we can recognize each other in "black tie" attire!
