B+... Not bad at all! All in all, a very good review! haha I like the way they basically said "This is a good album - you wouldn't know that based on the single!" haha
Standouts include producers Bloodshy & Avant's three electro-pop contributions, especially ''Shy Boy.'' (If B&A made Britney's CD listenable, imagine what they can do with a singer.)

:cheerleader1: Good for Jordin! I actually listened to the whole cd yesterday on MSN and I am sure the younger crowd will like it alot. I actually only liked 2 of the songs on it while the rest pretty much all sounded the same to me. I have decided not to get it for that reason.
Anyway, good luck to Jordin! :)

Jordin sold 121K on her first week. For a new artist, this is extremely good. However, for someone who just won the biggest talent show in the world, this is a bit of a disappointment.

Basically, Jordin sold only about 25K more than Elliott did on his first week.
Although we have to consider a few things:
-Elliott is on an independent label, while Jordin has a Major Label completely backing her.
-Jordin released her album on the highest week for sales (Black Friday), whereas Elliott's album was released in March, not necessarily the best month to move units.
-Jordin's album was released just as Tatoo was peaking on Radio. Elliott's album was released, and WFY had not yet even begun to make any real sort of impact. Can you imagine his sales had his debut album actually been released during WFY's peak?

wow...only 121K? I think that's the worst opening week ever for an Idol winner, and doesn't bode well for Blake Lewis at all.

Nice review for Jordin. EW writers can be kinda harsh so it's extra special that she got a B+.
Maybe her sales will pick up. I Hope so. I won't be buying it, but I wish her well.
Season 6 was the one I enjoyed the least. As much as I disliked Season 3, Season 6 was even worst for me.
