I had started a topic about this a couple months ago but I can't find it. So I'll start over. I won this guitar from a charity auction it was to be signed by Tommy Hilfiger. I was contacted by the auction site asking me what I would like Tommy Hilfiger to write for the personalization. That was a surprise! I thought, cool, I'll ask him to write something about...who else?? Elliott, of course. So my first request was "Elliott Yamin is too sexy for my shirts" (as in the runway model song). Received a email saying "we don't feel comfortable asking Mr. Hilfiger to write that and can you come up with something else?. I couldn't really think of anything clever so I just said oh have him write "Dress like YAMIN it". A couple weeks later I receive another email..."Tommy's people don't want to ask Mr Hilfiger to write anything pertaining to Elliott Yamin so you'll need to make another request" (I'm sure it isn't that TH has anything against EY, just his PR people doing there job) So I write back and gave them my 3rd personalization request . I just received the guitar today. See picture below. (I sure wish it could have pertained to Elliott :rotfl: )
