OK, so I know a ton of you ETrainers have already met Elliott, but I'd never gotten the chance before. Then, last night, while waiting in line for concert, Elliott was just standing outside his tour bus! Surprisingly, not a whole lot of fans went up to him. I got a pic with him and told him I've been to the AI concert and his other NYC show, and that I bought 3 copies of his CD, LOL. I wasn't really sure what to say because I know he's just a human being, but he's also ELLIOTT! He seemed a little preoccupied (can't say I blame him, getting ready for the show and all) but he was still very nice and posed for a pic with me. AAHHHHHHH! :cloud9:

Elliott is literally exhausted, and that's probably why he seemed a little preoccupied. But nothing stops him from meeting and talking with his fans.

LOL, I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't know what to say when talking to him! I felt like such an idiot after I told him I bought 3 copies of his album, LOL. He did look a little confused when I said that, but of course he smiled and said, "Well thank you very much for your support!" :awe:

Aw hon, YAY!!!!!!! How wonderful for you, and Elliott is always so gracious with his fans, no matter how exhausted the poor guy is! So happy you got your moment with him, and yes, at least you didn't say "omg I love you I think I am going to pass out.." cause that is what I said to him, the very first time.....

I have a feeling that Elliott has probably gotten used to the fact that he has the most inarticulate fans on the planet by now. I'm sure he scratches his head and wonders just how we all manage to make a living for ourselves when none of us are able to create complete sentences! (Hence, the reason why he wanted Mike to stick around longer in Maryland - finally someone with conversational skills! LOL :-)

These are all "sentences"!!!

Sadly, I understand and have used each of these in my feeble attempts to communicate with the man... (as well as Josh, Aaron, Russell, etc. It's gotten so that every one of 'em has almost the same effect on me. It's just so daggone embarrassing!) Other great gems like, "Wow", "From Richmond", "Just loved, ya know.. that?", "ya like, um???" Where to, uh... next?" "Here's some stuff." (at least that's a complete thought, but wouldn't it be good to say something meaningful? Oh well, hopefully they know and understand how much we all love them!
