sorry for replying so late-ish, because i've been busy studying for 4 tests, teachers these days...

what really disappoints me is that my parents & bro really dislikes Elliott, hmm that should be more like HATE him. seriously. when WFY came on the radio, my bro was like WTF?!? and during Capitol 4th my dad was like HEY THERES THE LOSER MEGAN LIKES SO MUCH! and my mom goes MAN HE'S SO SHORT. then on Rachael Ray my mom goes WOW HE GOT REALLY FAT & CHUBBY & MIGHTY UGLY... not only these shows but many, many more.

sorry for my blabbering, it just irritates me to hear all these bad "sayings" of someone i love to pieces.

oh you must be wondering... why is my mom and/or family going? because if they don't they know i'll hate them and never speak to them ever again * as well i will be disappointed for life.

Getting back to the details of meeting up...

That sounds about right. We could meet for lunch at 1 pm and then go check out the line at the auditorium. My daughter and I waited in line at the Showbox in Seattle for 2 hours before they started letting us in and then another 2 hours in the bar. So I say to Elliott..."I'll wait for you!" :yes:

Actually my mom and i did go to Slim's and after that i melted away while my mom hated him some more...

So who all is going to get a hotel room in San Jose?

I'm pretty sure I'll be driving into downtown. Hubby was going to come with me, and we were going to take lightrail into downtown, but he's not coming, so since I'll be by myself, I want to drive directly into downtown (I'll just have to pay the parking lot fee, ugh.)

I'll be driving in as well so I gotta pay parking lot fees too. :(
Anyway, it's just a 30-40 min drive for me, so I won't be needing a hotel room.

I'll be driving into downtown from Los Gatos. If I'm not mistaken, I think the parking is free on Sunday in the parking lot between 2nd and 3rd St. I will do more research on this. It's only a short walk from there to the Civic Auditorium. Have we decided on a time and place to meet before the concert?

Actually, I believe the Fourth Street Garage is free on Sundays also--I hadn't thought about that!

No, we haven't decided on a meeting place. If we meet at a restaurant that needs reservations, it will probably be on the expensive side. If anyone is getting a hotel room, maybe we could meet there? I don't know--any other suggestions?

I like the idea of meeting at a hotel lobby. Even if nobody's staying the night, we can still decide on any hotel near the Civic Aud. If we meet at about 1pm, maybe we'll still have time for lunch and maybe we can find a restaurant along the way that won't be too busy to seat us w/ out reservations. But I know time is of the essence...we need to get a good spot in line! LOL. so I understand the concern for the reservations. But if we can't get a firm number of people and decide on a resto., then I'm willing to just take a chance. What do you guys think?
