Title: Thank You!!!
Description: THANK YOU!!!

jhoge - November 30, 2007 03:50 PM (GMT)
Hello all! I hope I'm writing this somewhere that you guys will find it :) I wanted to drop by and say a BIG THANK YOU to each and every one of you who have supported me since the summer! I had the most amazing time for almost 5 months, and couldnt have asked for a better person to tour with and now call one of my best friends in Mr. Elliott Yamin. His fans (you guys) are really what make artists have careers! I had the pleasure of meeting so many of you in person, and YES if/when I see you again I will remember you! :) One thing I take pride in, is caring about who your true fans are (as does Elliott) and even though sometimes it gets a bit crazy I always have been taught by my mom and pops that "fans" are the reason you get to play music. I sort of hate the word "fan" so I try to get to know people (in some way) so I can almost consider them friends instead. Well you guys are an incredible community, and I plan on keeping in touch through here etc and I know I will have you guys support come next year and on! Elliott and I traded "I miss you already" texts last night and YES we are wanting to do a tour together again next year, so keep all fingers crossed! Oh and keep those fingers warm cause I'm gonna need you to be ready to request some JHOGE at radio next year!!! Just to keep you updated on whats going down on my end... I will be in LA Jan and Feb making the record. I have already written the 13 songs we are recording (some older that you have heard and some new you havent) Elliott and I will be doing a cover of SOMETHING but not sure what yet? Keep your eyes open cause we may have a little contest for you guys to help choose the song we do. I also wrote a male/female duet that I will be doing with a "special guest". My friend Marshall Altman will be producing my album (hes an old friend, but small world cause he did the following Elliott songs too)
"Im the Man/Sharing the Night/Believe/and Im in love with you forever"
This record is going to be great I think! The 1st single should be out like April (its a new song I just wrote called "Stay Away") and the full album should be due in June!!! YAY!!! haha. I am so excited for 2008. Well, if youre interested I will be blogging and updating throughout the album being made so I will def keep in touch and you in the loop! Hope each and everyone of you have an amazing Holiday season, and thanks again for making my summer and fall one to remember!!! Your "train" rocks!!!

Love,
Josh Hoge

Josh, you know we miss you already too. You've gotten to be so near and dear to all of us - we only wish you the best of luck - and "Thank You for Being a Friend" - you will definitely see some of us when you tour, whether with Elliott or not! Stay in touch and be good - LOL!

AngELL - November 30, 2007 03:57 PM (GMT)
Your album will be stellar--those are some of my fave E songs (Altman-produced)...I so hope you and E continue to team up--it was a joy to meet you--my DH and I-in Orlando! All success and blessings to you--you deserve it for sure!

gerryd - November 30, 2007 04:06 PM (GMT)
I love your music, Josh, and I'm so happy I got to see you in Canada. Please come back! I'm really looking forward to your CD and I'll be requesting your music like crazy!

Linda4Elliott - November 30, 2007 04:11 PM (GMT)
aawwww, Josh we love you so much...because of who you are and because of your superb talent. Your songwriting (and singing) is amazing, and I will support you without a doubt. I can't wait for your first single and the CD. Also keeping my fingers crossed for that tour. I can't imagine you and Elliott touring without each other. Thanks for staying in touch!! Lots of Love, Linda

lindagt - November 30, 2007 04:27 PM (GMT)
Oh, and one more thing we may have forgotten to tell you Mr. Hoge - we are way proud of you!!

We're always talking about how we are proud of Elliott - but the same goes for you. You took a rotten situation with your last record label and turned lemons into lemonade. As hard as it is to take sometimes, I still am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason - if only to learn big lessons from every experience. You have risen above the bad guys - and yes - we are really, really proud of you!

luvthatelliott - November 30, 2007 04:31 PM (GMT)
And we love you to pieces Josh. I'll be one of the first in line to get your new cd and I'll download that single just as soon as it pops up on iTunes. Please keep us posted. You're an amazing talent and a sweetheart too - have fun recording!

Well you might be first in line in Richmond, but I'll be first in NC. I'm really looking forward to a new single in April and a *full length* CD this summer.

Josh - you are so special to us. Not only for your talent (which is amazing), but for the kind of person you are. You have made each one of us who had the pleasure of meeting you feel very, very important to you. I love your sense of humor and your easy approachability. Thank you for making my concert experiences so memorable. Looking forward to what you have in store for us in the future.

I want my kiss-- LOL.

Love love love you Josh-- cant wait until you tour again and we get to hear some new (and old music). Miss you!!

Josh -- It was great meeting you in Orlando (I talked to you about the "Toilet Man" video) -- I'm looking forward to hearing your new music!

To me, a concert experience is a special one not just because of fantastic live performances but also to get a sense of who the performers are, how they interact, etc. It's what happens in between the songs that is often most memorable for me.

So thanks for helping make the HOB concert in Orlando one I will remember with a smile. Can't wait to see you again!!!

Right after Christmas I'm starting an Elliott & Josh account so I can hit more next year!!

I met you briefly in Columbia Mo. I already knew by reading your blogs what a down to earth nice guy you are. I wish you all the success you deserve and look forward to your album release.

Hi Josh, I got to meet you a few times. Philly, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Allentown. I love your music and truly feel your talent. I'm a person of a few words, but love hearing the words in your music. And of course, you're one funny guy.

I've picked up a few local Josh fans along the way, playing your CD. And I'm behind you in your rise to fame 100%. Can't wait to hear your new CD/single.

I believe Chloe (Carol) is sending you off a special button I made for you. Best of luck with your new contract, and as the new geico boy :).

Hey Josh;) Let me just tell you that great men and talents like Elliott and yourself, make it oh so EASY to be such supportive fans. I have always believed that you draw those into your life that mirror who you are, so just think about that when you look back on the past year and all of the amazing people that you have met and become friends with. I will absolutely get those fingers ready, and will do everything in my little Yellin' power to get the word out;) I already know of about 15 people I have shared the love of your CD with that will be ready to support you come CD release time!! Know the love, show the love and SHARE the love...that is the only way to be in this one life we live;) It is rare in this day and age, that two such talented, bighearted, genuine men actually get their due, and I feel blessed to witness it before my very eyes;)

Best of luck to you in the studio, and I will definitely be seeing you next year. Hopefully with Elliott and with those free tix for my tat...HEHEEEEE!!

Have a wonderful Holiday, reflect on the past year, and GOD BLESS!!

and I say ELLIOSH IN 2008~the year of the Gecko !!!!!

This brought tears to my eyes. I thought only Elliott could do that. Josh, THANK YOU. I'm so glad you guys decided to tour together and you became a part of the Etrain family. It was wonderful meeting you in June. You are just as humble and down to earth as Elliott and it's obvious why you guys are such good friends. You both deserve all the success in the world. I am so excited about your album and I can't wait to hear the new material. I know it will be amazing. Hurry back to Northern California!! We miss you.

Hey Josh!

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet, as you were not touring with Elliott at that time, but I look forward to the day that I do, as everything I have read, you are one heck of a nice guy! I do love your voice and I wish you much success in your music career! I'll be there to support you! Take care and God Bless!
