Is this an expensive fundraiser thing in Richmond? I know I'll be totally Elliott starved by February. I noticed that Skybus out of here to Richmond is really cheap around that time ($25 - $35 per flight), but I have the impression that Elliott's appearance there is a local fundraiser. Am I correct? Will he be singing or just appearing? Oh well, I'll try to be patient. Not that I don't want to help a good cause, but I'll wait to attend a fundraiser when he comes to my town. If it's a concert I might start making plans, though.

I have very sketchy information, except that I know it is not a concert. It's an appearance of some kind - he might sing maybe one song, but I don't know for sure. I'm sure there's someone who will pipe up with more information than I have. Just wanted you to know that I DO know it is NOT a concert.

I emailed the Cultural Arts Director for JCC about the show.
This is the email I received from Darcy Warren.(Cultural Arts Director for JCC):

"He will be speaking for about 30 minutes, then do a Q & A and then he will perform two songs. I hope this helps."

I've got tickets ordered, but haven't received them yet.

Maybe he will do another full show in Richmond. I wanted to go to the Norfolk show....but didn't think I could stand the whole time. I'm feeling my age. : 0
