Somehow in all the excitement of E's appearance on Montel, we forgot to celebrate one of the biggest pieces of news of them all--which E announced on the show: that Eli Lilly had agreed to collaborate with JDRF in giving $3 million over 3 years to help find a cure for diabetes and to help make living with diabetes less difficult. Elliott has not taken credit for that incredible gift, but I think he does deserve kudos! It was only after his involvement with Eli Lilly's Inspired by Diabetes program, and only after his global PSA's and just before his Montel appearance--where he could make the announcement nationally--that this gift was decided upon. I'm sure they were impressed by all the wonderful PR that E has brought about. And I think we need to give Elliott the credit he deserves for being such an important catalyst in making it happen. Another one of E's dreams well on its way! Let's keep working with E to help stamp out diabetes! Can't help just loving our Elliott!
