I'm so afraid when the mood gets somber about the song, that people feel like giving up. That's why I cringe when facts, (no matter how bleak) aren't supported with positive wording. It DOES affect people. I NEVER, EVER mean that we should shirk away from the truth, but I think things can be presented in a way that fosters positivity and productivity.

I saw a flame for OW on my screen all morning, but I haven't been there this afternoon yet. What I did find strange was Good Life had an ice cube this morning, Alicia Keys had ice an ice cube - just very odd considering they both got noms yesterday.

I just counted the "flames" on VH1. There are only 14, perhaps we'll see OW on tomorrow's show! Keeping my fingers crossed....

I was just back there about an hour ago and saw the thermometer! The horrors! Maybe it gets reset when they are done tabulating for tomorrows show and has to work its way back up. Oddly, the two I mentioned earlier that ice cubes now had flames. So weird.

There are always 14 Flames. They can change depending on the amount of votes the artists get, but never more or less than 14 at a time.

I'VE SEEN NOTHING BUT A FLAME ALL WEEK. LIKE HANUKAH, THE FLAME IS BURNING FOR 8 DAYS!! ALL WEEK I'VE ONLY COUNTED ABOUT 14 FLAMES, SO ELLIOTT SHOULD MOST DEFINITELY BE IN THE TOP 20, I'LL BE SURPRISED IF OW IS NOT IN THE TOP 10. :xmascheers:
