A funny thing happened on our way to Las Vegas last week. You know how you talk really loud, when your ears are covered? Well I was dozing off, when suddenly I heard someone yell "Elliott's on!". I quickly woke up and looked to see what the commotion was, and it was my D.H. with headphones on, singing away to Wait For You. I almost ripped the headphones off him, cause I couldn't find mine quickly enough. Meanwhile a couple of girls across the aisle were begging, "what station? what station?", as Elliottwannabee smugly sang his last "I'll be waiting"
It was pretty funny at the time, here I was freaking out in the middle of the sky over a song that I have heard at LEAST a gazillion times!!!!

Oh btw, I also heard One Word in the hotel room on the xm radio

I'm the same way! Everytime WFY or OW comes on the radio, I start freaking out and I'm telling everyone to quiet down and I start singing. My friends think I'm a psychotic stalker ... but they just don't understand! :1word:

I remember the first time I ever heard WFY on the radio. I was ecstatic...I already knew the CD because I listened to it over and over again. My sister and I bought the CD pre-ordered on Amazon, so we both knew all the songs. I heard One Word the other day...I wish they would play it more. I want Elliott to be heard more. Try to vote at the radio stations but either there is no answer or it's busy. Wish there was an easier way to vote (like it is on Vh-1). So...I get so happy when I hear ELLIOTT's voice on the radio. Me too-so happy to hear it...even if I'm unhappy that they answered my OW request by playing WFY, I'm so excited every time I hear that I have to forgive them...

lol, I talk with one of the DJ's Meredith from our local hit station through myspace, and she knows what a HUGE elliott fan I am. I even leave comments on the stations myspace page with pics of E! Hey anything for exposure!! They have always been so supportive of E, and still play WFY constantly. Meredith actually messaged me and told me the station received a copy of Elliott's holiday CD and wanted to know if I would like to have it because she knows how much I love E, even though she knew I proly' had it. I told her I had like 5 of them, and to keep it and LISTEN to it, and PLAY it because it is amazing! Anything to get the word out!

And you are right Denny, because for as long as WFY has now been playing on the radio, I STILL flip out when the DJ says "and coming up next we have Elliott Yamin and Wait for You on Z107.3. Everyone thinks I am certified, but it isn't ME that is...it is Elliott...certified GOLD, and certified all around top notch human being;)
