I plan to call sometime today :). I think vibe's somewhat been converted, lol... I haven't heard her say anything mean about him since before they put WFY in power rotation. Plus, she took my OW request a few weeks back, and simply said she'd try to get it on for me, no snide remarks...

I'm going to call -- I truly think they see my number and don't pick up, though, given the number of times I called on Wait for You and the two measly times I got through.

They played the heck out of Wait for You, once they finally got started, on everybody's shift that I know of, so they got over their initial anti-Elliott snobbery, for a while, anyway.

I don't think it's personal. The fit between OW and the station isn't there (yet).
I think E has great relationships with most of the radio djs. But they can't play what isn't on their playlist as far as I know.

Really most of the djs seem to like Elliott a lot. But as we know that doesn't translate into his music getting played. It's a snobby station. When it comes to playing stuff that they don't instantly recognize as cool, they wait until the song is so big they can't deny it. They do this with others, as well as Elliott.

That's true, Hot 99.5 didn't start playing WFY until July. Also, when Chloe called last night, that would have been during OHP.

if you look at what he's listed as for as his promotion for the 4th quarter - it's a lot of what we're hearing on our radios today. Maybe the timing for OW was bad. Or maybe the big labels promotional packages left no room for Elliott.
I think that dj's like Elliott just fine - things just didn't work out at this time for this song.

To be honest, I don't know. I just assumed it since Chloe said she thought she talked to Kane. That's the only time I knew him to be on on a Sunday night.

Correct. Last I read it's now a DJ from WIRED in Philly on OHP Sundays.
