Title: Elliott's Cd Advertised On Today Show This Morning

jansidol - December 11, 2007 03:48 PM (GMT)
I was at the gym this morning....on the threadmill....the two gals on either side of me had on VH1 COUNTDOWN at 8am.....and I had on the TODAY SHOW.........so there I was watching Elliott's video at #20 thru my side vision while listening to THE TODAY SHOW segment on CONSUMER STEALS AND DEALS for the holiday......and there it was and a minute and a half into the ad.....A SPLASH OF ELLIOTT'S CD in the top corner of the screen.....

I found the link for the segment on NBC TODAY WEBSITE...

NBC TODAY SHOW HOLIDAY STEALS AND DEALS

It was almost surreal to have ELLIOTT on 3 threadmill tv screens in a row........2 of his video OW...and NBC'S SEGMENT.....

:hapiholidays: :tisdseason: :hapiholidays:

Wow, NBC really outdid themselves with that promotion, although it is better than nothing!!! Have the boy on the show!!!!

That's cool, but can't NBC give him a TV appearance? The holidays are still a bit of time away.

I listened to a snippet of McPhee's 'O Come All Ye Faithful'. Hard as I try to judge her fairly, I honestly thought it had an unpleasant tone. It just didn't have that Christmas feeling this song requires.

Because I'm trying to see if I get I-Village or In the Loop I Tivoed all 4 hours of The Today Show. In the Steals and Deals I saw Elliott's regular CD on the screen with 3 others as something to buy for a holiday gift (James Taylor, Josh Groban and Jordin Sparks were the others). Then toward the end of the 4th hour there was a great advertisement with Elliott singing This Christmas as all the holiday CD are advertised (KD Tunstall and Taylor Swift along with Elliott's). The I-Village program was mentioned for tomorrow, but it guided viewers to watch on the web-site which is where I guess I'll need to watch. This ad's probably been on before, but it was the first time I'd seen it - very nice - Elliott's song was the only one that was heard.

I'm glad they are continuing to do little promo spots on various commercials/holiday segments.
