Love it! So it's not just Richmond playing his Christmas CD!

That is great news! I love his Christmas CD more than any other Christmas music ever- heck I've been playing it since October :santarotfl:

This almost makes up for OW lack of radio play. Let's request like crazy because in about 23 days the Christmas season will be over. :xmasetrain:

emmy4F, I'm with you. I have never been a big fan of Christmas songs because they are played so much that I just tire of them. But Elliott's cd....I love it and play it over and over. Even the familiar songs sound unique when he sings them. Our boy was so smart getting the rights to the master after Christmas.

I have all kinds of Christmas music dating way back to Elvis' vinyl LP, but Elliott's CD is the only Christmas music I've played this year. That's saying a lot, because my other favorite current singer (Brad Paisley) put out a Christmas CD just last year which I also love.
I discovered that I could listen to Josh Groban's full CD on AOL music, so I did. It is really beautiful and I can see why it is so wildly popular. I consider it to be serious while I think Elliott's CD is lighthearted and fun and full of energy. I could listen to either with enjoyment, but most of the time I prefer fun over serious.

In case anyone wasn't aware of it, I've been reporting new holiday spins as they happen on the
Radio Play Updates and include all holiday song tracking on the Top Post of the
Radio Airplay Tracker.
So far, we've heard of about 62 stations playing Elliott's holiday music. Most of these stations have only spun the songs a couple of times total. So, we need to request where we know they have played the songs. On the AC charts, which are the ones mentioned on this thread, it only takes a couple of spins at a couple of stations to make the charts since AC play of new songs is relatively infrequent. BTW, E's holiday songs are also charting on the HAC format.
You can check what songs have played at your local stations by checking the compiled list of the Top Posts of the Radio Tracker (link found above). Just look for the song's abbreviated name (ie. MCB for Merry Christmas Baby) at the end of the station's line.
I'm also reporting the charting of all songs above #70 on the Radio Updates thread so you can always check the Top Post there for the latest news.

| I love Warm Me Up. :) |
I gave a co-worker Elliott's Christmas CD today. She liked Elliott but wasn't a big fan of his.
She LOVES the album.
She described it as soothing. A nice mix of songs.
I can see why it is getting many spins around the Country this year.
I love "Warm Me Up" as well. I also like "Let's be Naughty" -- he has some great runs and that growly voice. Yummmmmm!
