Title: New Xm Channel Playing One Word
Description: Radio Hanukkah

onlyforelliott - December 12, 2007 11:55 AM (GMT)
I just checked XMFan and One Word got a play this morning on Channel 108,
Radio Hanukkah. It says December 11, but I've noticed that ever since the end of Daylight Savings Time, XMFan lists songs played between 12 and 1 AM with the wrong date.

Well this is a moot point anyways. Radio Hanukkah is over since Hanukkah is over.

Mike,

If Radio Hannukkah is over, why did they play it this morning?

the station remains until the end of December, if I recall. So, NOT moot.

Mike,

If Radio Hannukkah is over, why did they play it this morning?

It is over at Midnight tonight: Today is the last day of Hanukkah but it ends about 5 EST. So tomorrow this station is history.

It looks like they did a Jews in Time series and today was the last time. This was Today's music so that is why they probably spun OW.

looks like they've been playing a host of Jewish entertainers on this channel.
Does Sirius also have a seasonal station for this holiday? We'll remember this for next year. Thanks for reporting the spin; the station probably doesn't go dead (do any at XM?)...probably replaced by radio Kwanzaa or somesuch. ;-)

It's actually a great station, playing wonderful Yiddish music and featuring celebrated singers of today and past generations.

Any spin is a great spin.. . What is with this word Moot, is the the word of the day today. He he..

Any spin is great but I was letting you know not to bother requesting since this station is off in about 11 hours.

Also, not being mean since I listen to it sometimes but I bet the audience of this channel is pretty low. This is only on 8 days and it is great for Jews like me but it most likely isn't listened to very often.

And I always use moot, so I didn't know it was the word of the day today (I promise)
