Last year, around the time Elliott was eliminated from the show, a fan from the Yaminions site asked us to send in letters for him. She put them into a book and presented it to him when he was in NYC for some media appearances (Regis & Kelly, etc.) I opened my letter with the line:

Elliott -- this world, MY world -- is a better place because you are in it.

That phrase is true even more today. I'm so grateful that he is here to share his gift with the world.

Elliott and his voice have enriched my life deeply. We are very blessed. It has been a wonderful year and I have found joy even through difficult times, just listening to him sing. Added to that, I feel exceptionally blessed that not only can he sing better than anyone I have heard, but there is a kind soul to go with that. And because of him, I have met many new and wonderful friends.

If someone had told me a year ago that I would be going to a concert and standing for 7 hours straight I would have told them they were out of their mind...but I did and not once but twice! Thank you Elliott for making me feel young again. LOL I'm convinced you're heaven sent. :angelnot:

my life has not been, and will never be the same, since
that day that elliott sang moodys mood for love, on AI. i dropped what i was holding in the kitchen, and came into to family room screaming "who is that
singing"?????......in my life....which has many years in it, i had not heard such a voice. from that day forward, there has not been a day that i have not spoken
of, and not listened to the incredible voice that is elliott. i've been to this website, and many others on a daily basis. elliott has become a part of my daily life (which is a good thing). getting to know him, thru his many good deeds, and his concerts, and his records, has only added to my respect and deep affection for this young man. i give claudette many kudos, for instilling in him the qualities needed to be a real mensch......and elliott is that.
thanks elliott, for adding much excitement to my life. and giving me a cause to support (other than politics).....you are a winner......and don't you ever forget that. you are soooooo loved!!!!!!!

Elliott has changed my life so much, all for the better!!

I love his voice, but it's his soul that has captured me totally. Elliott brings out the good in people. I truely have not gone through a day since I first heard Elliott on AI without talking and thinking about Elliott his music and his family.
I am so thankful for all the wonderful friends I have made all over the world both here on Etrain and my Moosak Sistas all because of Elliott.

Thank you Elliott for bringing sunshine when I can't see it. For making me smile when I want to cry. For making me believe when I've given up.
