At this time last year it wasn't clear Elliott would even release a CD, but now that he has, he's become the second most successful alum from '05. The album has gone Gold, and debut single "Wait for You" was a Top 5 smash.

It is not much of a poll if Taylor Hicks is winning. I like Taylor and I am not bashing him but he did not have the most successful year.

Unless the winner of this poll gets nationwide airplay for their current single I don't see any point in voting. This poll seems like a complete waste of time if Taylor is winning... I'd rather use my voting time for countdowns, etc - things that generate radioplay. JMO :)
