well I saw this, but I also just read in Entertainment Weekly that it is not scheduled to come out until March 2008...so not sure if the Jan date will stick or not. ;)

I had read that somewhere and can't remember where. In my opinion, Paula should be included in the CD. I notice the name of the CD is different in this article than on Amazon. I assume they are one in the same.

I can recall hearing an unsubstantiated rumor that Randy was pairing Yamin and Carey for a duet. Obviously, it turns out to be Yamin and McPhee, although Mariah, it is noted, is involved in the same project.

Could you imagine an Elliott-Mariah collab?

Actually, I maybe in the minority here, but I wouldn't like to hear Elliott and Mariah. I don't think their styles mesh well. I would love to hear him with the one he wants to do a duet with and that's Natasha Beddingfield. I also think his duet with McPhee will sound good, her voice won't try to overpower Elliott.

I wouldn't mind hearing Elliott with little Mindy Doo from AI6. Those two number threes could produce a number 1 imo. :)

Chloe, I had the same reaction!! I was thinkin, as long as she doesn't screech. Seriously, Kat truly does have a nice voice, when she doesn't try too hard. When she just sings naturally, I like her sound. I am sooo excited to hear the single! :rocker:

I was listening to my Ally McBeal Christmas CD the other day (don't laugh, I really like some of the cuts) and was thinking that Vonda Shepard would mesh really well in a duet with Elliott. She's very bluesy but understated.

I agree. She was my favorite that season.

I remember hearing this song earlier in the year and I think it has the potential to be really good. While I'm not a Kat fan I think the song is a good fit for her vocals and well, we know what Elliott can do when he sings. I'm anxious to hear it. I hope Randy did a good job with the song's production and that he put Elliott forward in a very positive light.
