I did a search to see if this topic had been discussed but didn't find anything. So please forgive me if it's already been posted.
I found these links over on the Yaminions.com site...but Elliott performed 12/20/07 in NYC at the Blythedale Children's Hospital...and as always...his live performances have their unique spin that makes every performance seem like you've heard it for the first time.
The most intersting performance was "Merry Xmas Baby". He actually is "guest" soloing with a group named Holiday Express...he only sings one special verse of the song (Santa came down the chimney, half past 3...brought all of those good ol' presents for my baby and me). But what's really funny is that he flubs the line...but in Elliott's fashion (ala the Turkey sandwich incident in Texas)...it doesn't matter...he elevates the song to a new level when he does his (even) flubbed verse. BTW, he sings his verse twice...about 1:20 into the song...then again later after a musical interlude.
