Title: Thank You Letter To Elliott
Description: Prepare for sappy cheesy stuff

You know, I didn't even realize until the other night at my friend's house when we were talking how much my whole "encounter" with Elliott affected me. So, I thought I'd write one of those thank-you letter things. It'll probably sound corny, and hopefully you guys won't think I'm obsessed or something XD

So um, hi Elliott! If you don't know who I am, I'm that girl who had the dog in Greensboro. I talked to you for a second and then ran away because I wasn't sure what to say and I get nervous really easily, haha. But I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to meet me, even if it was almost two months ago. Stuff never works out for me, and when I met you I was just feeling bad because things weren't going well with my family and I felt like everything was just a never ending chain of bad luck. When I met you, you were so nice and genuinely happy to sign stuff for me and that kind of thing. Lots of people in your position could care less about their fans, especially a 15 year old kid like me. But you helped show me that not everything is so bad, and that there really are truly good, caring people and not everything has to have a catch. I wish I knew more people like you, but I don't. Other than my mom, who got me to listen to you in the first place. I'm so glad she did too, you have an awesome voice, and you don't sing about money, and suicide and all that junk.
So pretty much all I want to say is thanks, and I hope I get to meet you again (and get into a concert of yours) someday.

<3 Audra S.

what a sweet tribute! I'm so glad Elliott can be uplifting to you and a good role model for young people going through difficult times.

Audra, I'm sure that Elliott will appreciate your kind words. Know you have a cyber-family here that thinks you are pretty special.

Very well put....not corny at all. Elliott has touched us all in some way and you expressed your feelings quite well. Thanks for posting.

Nice post, Audra. Merry Christmas :)

Audra, I so hope that Elliott gets to read your letter to him. I know he doesn't really want to be a role model, but he is. And a darn good one at that. It is great that you Audra have been taught to appreciate someone like Elliott. Too many "star" in the public today are a total disgrace to themselves and to anything good in this world. Hope you have a great Holiday season. We here on the e-train love Elliott so much. and always will. I have to think that as much as he can, he loves us too. :hapiholidays:

Awwww sweetie, that was the furthest thing from corny ever! Written from your heart & eloquently put at that. You are one special 15yr old! :glomp:

:goodpost: Audra, your letter is from the heart and that's the most important thing. I'm sure Elliott will smile when he reads how he impacted your day!!

I totally agree with the sentiment. I have been affected as well by Elliott. Your letter was sweet. I came across a word that I think says how I feel about him...I have a E-tude (like an attitude. It so happens that it has something to do with music..Étude
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An étude (a French word meaning "study") is a short musical composition designed to provide practice in a particular technical skill in the performance of a solo instrument.
ELLIOTT's magical voice is a solo instrument and a certainly has technical skill!!! :fangirly:
It's a reach, I know...

There is a whole e-train just chock full of people, so much like Elliott hon, right here for you, whenever you may need us!! I know we may not be there "physically" but we are always here to listen, give advice, and support, so never forget that!

I have to say, as a young lady you are very wise in your choice to follow, and support someone as amazing as Elliott. I think he is a wonderful role model for young people..actually ALL people, and it is good for you to know and see that there really is so much good in a world that can sometimes seem just the opposite;)

I think your letter is perfect, and I have NO DOUBTS, that Elliott will see it, and he will remember you!
