Description: Wow!!!! again
rooney - December 27, 2007 01:58 PM (GMT)
Shoot, every time I think I have settled on a favorite song Elliott goes and blows it out of the ballpark again. This rendition of 'Movin On' is now my favorite. I know most of you have seen this video but just in case you haven't please listen. Scroll down page until you get to video. A great video all around.
Elliott, honey, this is not a criticism cause I love both your cds but you need to cut loose more like you did in this performance. What I wouldn't give to have this live version on a cd!

This is my absolute favorite version of Movin On!!!! I posted this same video a few weeks ago because I love it so much. It's on my myspace page. He is so relaxed and the vocals are amazing!! Thanks for posting it. Everyone needs to hear this :)
:awe:

WHOA....OK not to start any trouble...but if Movin On is not released as a single that would be such a waste of a song. That song...in any version...is BRILLIANT!!
And love the hat hair!!

That was without a doubt the best version of Movin On I've heard! I think what makes it so good is.....it's not rushed and he has time to wing it the way he feels it. So many times when this is done live, the tempo is so fast, he hardly has time to sing the words! I love this!!!!!! Love the "Come on in, Babay" part! LOL!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the first time I saw that! It was unbelievable!!!

"Consider me gone", "Come on in baby" and "come on in lady" Yea Elliott, that natural "thing" you do really should be on the c.d. I am not complaining, I am praising you, it is so wonderful that you can do it like that. You make it look so easy, only you can sing songs like that.

Totally! Just look at it as a suggestion for the next album E! Be the soul man that you are!

You know me, I always have to argue. I think this one is the best, a little faster tempo. Just edit out the turkey incident and its perfection:

I love the turkey incident. Love his vocal on this one as well, but because of the turkey incident, I have it as one of my favorites. Don't anyone dare take that part out, "things could get ugly!" :santarotfl:

Imagine him 10 years from now????

Gosh. He just sings so beautifully. I am so hooked. Can't wait to see what he does next.

He employs different runs and tonality in each of his performances. Very talented for sure! I agree with those who say MO should be a single.

I agree that I love this version too. I also loved his hat! It looked so cute yet you could still see his adorable eyes and curly hair.

one of my favorites too - the way he handled that was so endearing - we all just laughed right with him

I know,it kind of reminded me of the time when after singing "Home" on AI5. he ran to Ryan instead of waiting for the judges critiques and then Simon told him to run back to Ryan. So cute!!! :awe:
