Got it now! Now we need to wait for the exact line-up, since it is held on the east and west bank. Would love to meet more Etrainers there.

I did manage to get some information about the artists I asked about. Taylor Swift will be on the East Bank on Friday. Elliott and Peter Noone will be on the East Bank on Saturday. Blake Shelton will be on the West Bank but I don't know on which day. I wasn't able to get any specific times.

Given that I've seen Taylor Swift twice since August and that Blake Shelton is on the West Bank, I will probably just drive to New Orleans on Saturday.

If anyone is driving from points east and north of Mississippi, please contact me.

I'm ecstatic over this! Never thought I would see Elliott again so close to home. Unless we get a group together, I'll just go for the day also, since I'm near Baton Rouge and only 45 min from Metairie, which is actually where he'll be playing. Would love for other Etrainers to join us.

It's easy. All you have to do is fly into Gulfport. I'll be waiting at the passenger exit. First class accommodations (errr, make that what do friends care accomodations :) ) and a trip to New Orleans. I have a room reserved for you (or any other Etrainer) who accepts the offer.

As far as what time to arrive, I did not attend last year so I need to investigate more before I decide my arrival time. I do know there is a Miley Cyrus concert that afternoon in New Orleans which may draw a crowd away from Lakeside Shopping Center which is where Family Gras will be held.

I dont see the ticket price on the web page. Anybody know how much they are?

I'm listening to Mix 92.3 in NO to see if they do some kind of interview. Unfortunately if there was one this morning, I missed it.. slept in.

Elliott starts at 2:15 EST so maybe they may have something earlier if they don't broadcast it live. Just a hunch from onlyforelliott (who is there now), may not happen at all.

I'm excited - I noticed the time earlier and wished Elliott a long distance prayer probably just around the time the concert started.

I just returned from NO. It was a muddy mess with misty rain all morning. The crowds were very light until Elliott played, which brought in more people but I can't say that it was heavy. I'm a muddy mess from head to toe so I have to get in the shower promptly.
Elliott was awesome as usual, nearly similar to his concerts this fall; those that have attended them will understand. There were a few Etrainers there and hopefully some of his fans that I have recruited for the board.
We did not get to meet Elliott; just as I thought, security was very tight. I had brought Elliott a gift and had one of the Familly Gras reps bring it to him before the concert. The ony contact I had with him was a wave upon his arrival and during the concert. I did speak to Sway and Joonie and was within 10 feet of him but whomever was with him would not let me speak to him and he was busy speaking with some older gentlemen, I wasn't going to be rude and interrupt. What a bummer that I couldn't give him any love......So close, yet so far!
My husband took pics, not sure what he has since he said it was difficult because Elliott moves around so much. He gives 110%, doesn't he?
Elliott, if you read this, thank you for returning to NO.

Thanks for the update! Sorry it was so miserable - hopefully Elliott's voice helped you to forget about the mud for a little while.
