:hapiholidays: :xmascheerleader: I was at Yonkers Casino yesterday. I heard Elliott singing Merry Christmas Baby as I was eating in the restaurant there. I do not know what radio station was on, but I was thrilled to hear that voice . As soon as the first notes of music played I knew it was Elliott. I made everyone listen. They thought he was super too. Even though it was after Christmas..hearing Elliott do that song in a big public venue was a great after holiday treat!!

Maybe it's just the "blues" I'm in today, but I think that is just pathetic. Come on people, open your ears to a great singer . I have found that I really don't care to hear much of anyone but Elliott anymore.

That's the way I feel too - I've been told to enjoy others, but it's hard for me - I'm still doing the comparison thing - there is no one to compare with Elliott and I still want the world to know this. Oh well, it's all good. That Merry Christmas, Baby song by Elliott is incredible - I love it - I have, however, gotten the regular CD back into my player and I'm marveling at it all over again. :xmascheers: Happy New Year.

I hope I can overcome this thing, how am I going to explain listening to Elliott's Sound of the Season c.d. when July comes around? Damn, that man must be addictive or something. I refuse to go into rehab, tho. I guess I will just have to suffer. :groan:

This is an addiction I desperately don't want to get over (is the use of the word, desperate, a bad sign?). Anyway, I love Elliott and I love his holiday CD and whatever this means, he said that after Christmas it belonged to him. I purposely didn't buy a zillion (probably only about 15) like I have the regular CD because I was walking the fine line of wanting it to sell well (which it did) and saving up to purchase it again next year mega times when it is completely his!
