I noticed that a few days ago when I commercial for it came on. I was like,"Wait mom I need to see something!" And it was there.
The thought of a bunch of kids tearing up Wait for You kind of disturbs me, haha.

So Cool! I knew it had to happen, with all the kids singing this song on youtube... they love it. You have no idea how happy this makes me :). Like it should have been there a while ago. I've yet to see the commercial though.

My 9 year old daughter told me about the kidzbop. Kids all over are singing ''Wait for You.'' We had some 9 year old girls over for a New Years Eve sleepover. When I played it, they all knew all of the words.
My 4 and a half year old son likes me to put the cd in the kaoke machine so he can sing with the cd with the microphone. He's seen Elliott so many times on here and on youtube that he points to ''One Word ''and puts in the ''Yeahs'' that Elliott puts in his live performances of ''One Word''.

How can Party Like a Rockstar be on this CD? Did they remove all the verses and the kids just sing "Party Like a Rockstar Totally Dude" for 3 minutes?
Glad to hear WFY is included. At least no lyrics need to be changed.

Ummmmmmmmmm, I'm raising my eyebrows at many of those songs -- very mature content for the little ones to be singing/listening to!!

Having "Wait For You" included included on the Kidzbop CD is a pretty big deal. They sell well. Having the kids play the CD will introduce the songs to some parents and siblings who may look up the original artists and then buy their music. (I hope that happens.)

I just saw the Kidz Bop commercial.....it didn't play WFY, but you did see the title scrolling as the songs were listed.

My thoughts exactly. LOL Great exposure though. I quit buying Kidzbop for my kids and instead by the cd from the real artist.

I do that for my daughter, too.
Sadly three of the last four CDs I bought her were ones where I had to explain that while I don't promote any artists having to censor their work, (and therefore don't buy the "edited" versions) she better not walk around in public singing the actual lyrics or she'll surely find herself being uninvited to her little girlfriends houses!
BTW, the last four were:
Akon
Kanye
Fergie
TLG* (she can sing their lyrics without any awful looks from other parents)
Oh, she also got the Sean kingston CD, and while it's my least favorite of her recent selections, she at least is allowed to sing the lyrics.
