Just wanted to let you all know that yesterday I was at Borders, and in the music/CD section they choose certain CD's to "spotlight" and they have have the CD, plus a little plaque under it talking about the CD with the artists name, and a pair of earphones so you can have a listen to the CD. I took a pic of the display with my camera phone, but of course I have no clue how to load it onto the net..lol;0) While there were other artists spotlighted with quite a few CD's left, there were only 2 of E's left. Just goes to show you that when you get a chance to listen to that voice, there is no chance you could just walk out the door without CD in hand...hehe;) Thank you BORDERS!!!

I'm glad to hear that. I have bought CDs from many unknown artists when they were spotlighted at Barnes and Noble and I sampled tracks at the listening bar.

Great news. I should check my local Borders and see if it's spotlighted there. I didn't even know they sold his album there. Quite an honor for an indie artist.

This is just what the album needs in the slow sales weeks of January.

when I was in Best Buy over the Christmas Holidays, they had a big supply...maybe 10-12. Also for a couple of weeks, Walmart was displaying IDOL CD's in the top rack over the regular CD's and Elliott was included :)

I'll have to check out my local Borders - maybe they are spotlighting Elliott too.

I'm hoping that the start-up of Idol will sell more Idol albums - good idea of Walmart to showcase them too.

Just saw that at my Wal-mart, as well...

Elliott is WITH the "Idol" CDs..... Taylor Hicks is not.

You can email the pic to your album at photobucket. They have a tutorial where they explain how.

yes Yellin I remember seeing that, you can text a video or a picture to photobucket. I'm always texting to my son and occasionally sending pictures. I have so many texts a month, but that also includes video or pictures at no additional charge with tmobile. You may have the similar.

I love how Elliott's name is getting recognized. I remember when his first album came out and I was looking for it that very few of the salespeople knew who I was talking about when I asked for his album but it is a different story now.
