As the disk jockey said after Elliot sang with Holiday Express......HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL. Does this song have legs, or what? Love it!!

WVBW in Norfolk, VA has WFY at #11 on its Playlist with no previous ranking. A total of 15 spins so far.

AC has such low spin totals even for its #1 artists that the ADDs are essential if Elliott is to continue to move up the AC chart.

I noticed that PWT's lost its bullet today and that is who is in Elliott's way to going to #4.

But this could take three weeks at the rate this format moves.

As we've read time and again, the Adult Contemporary radio format isn't all that interested in taking requests. But, they are interested in REACTION.

If you hear WFY in your area, call the station and let the DJ know it made your day, or whatever. That's the kind of feedback that I think is effective for this format in particular.

It's finally happening at Sunny 95 in Columbus. I was afraid that it would never happen, but I see they have a new station director, at least the name on the site is different than the name on the e-mail sent to me from the station director a while back which told me that "with so many songs and so many singers it would be basically a pipe dream for me to hear WFY on their station, but thanks for listening". It played at 1:53 AM last night, so we're making progress. I might even start listening to their station again. They probably still resent me for bringing the boy scout troop to tour their facility - hey, we're in the neighborhood.

Delilah gave WFY a spin at 8:10 PM EST.
And John Tesh at 8:16 PM EST

We had a very nice overnight spike. Now I know why. Thx for keeping us in the loop with these huge syndicated show spins.

Thanks SK for the info and tips, I'm going to call and let my local station know how much I enjoy the song. I never get tired of hearing Elliott sing WFY, beautiful, just beautiful!!! I could (and do) listen to him all day.
