Does Elliott do his own background vocals? I was listening to WFY the other day and I just couldn't help but hear the background vocals!

sometimes he does - you have to read the liner notes to tell on some songs, but there were several where he did his own backgrounds.

On WFY, Taj Jackson (who wrote the song) does the background vocals. He is Michael Jackson's nephew and also sang backup during Elliott's appearance on AI this past season.

I'd been wondering ever since I read the name "Taj" if that was Tito's son. (How many could there be?) Thanks for confirming.

I wasn't 100% sure and did a bit of research. His full name is Tariano Adaryll Jackson, and he is Tito's son. He and his brothers used to have their own band called 3T.

This is so cool - I can't wait until I tell my middle daughter who is an Elliott fan and a long time Michael Jackson fan - she'll be so excited - this is an exciting business.
