Well I just ordered it for 3$, although it's probably a mistake... or something related to Big Planz ??? I didn't really like what the write ups said though.

Did anyone ever hear of this? Did I maybe miss something about it a while ago?

Ed Lover (who's in it) is a well known NYC d.j. Maybe this was done when Elliott was a dj.
Anyway, report back when you see it. Sounds like a documentary about rap music.

terriberriez - January 12, 2008 03:05 AM (GMT)
lol Gangsta E lol

From the write up, it does sound like some kind of documentary. Hmm...interesting.

That's funny!!! STREET E as GANGSTA!!! Now. to just make some E-rap music to go with it!!! :music: He's Movin' On, before he's gonna Wait (No) More!, for you girl!!! :music: Oh, and can't forget "Yo!!!"

It came today. UGHHHHH! What did I waste my money on now. I had to fast forward 4x through drug use, murder, rap, drugs, porn, drugs, gangsta rap, pimps, more drugs. Finally the credits... no Elliott. THANK GOD!!!! If there is any music with him singing, I doubt it seriously, I couldn't hear it at that speed.

I see credits given to Missy Elliott and some rapper called E Dubb... otherwise IMDB, get it straight! There is no Elliott. No mention of him in the credits!! (which I should have watched first.) Did I say THANK GOD!!! I just filled in a form to cancel Elliott's name from the credits on IMDB.

Now I have to laugh at myself for getting this video, and watching it, be it fast forward or not... now to burn it!

eta: would a few, if not all, also go to imdb and get Elliott's name off this movie's credits?

go here: http://imdb.com/title/tt1117535/ scroll down to the very bottom and in the left hand side click on update. Under cast scroll to correct/delete. scroll down click on continue. Scroll down to Elliott Yamin and scroll to delete. click continue and fill in that he isn't in the credits nor the movie. I think there are 2 more steps until it's entered. You should recieve an email saying they are working on it. JESSHHH.

Isn't E Dubb Elliott?

QUOTE (sherwood @ Jan 14 2008, 03:10 PM)
Isn't E Dubb Elliott?

No, they showed an interview with E Dubb, I slowed it down for that one. He is a chubby black rapper with MCA records. There is a video up on aol by an E Dubb, I'm still not sure if it's the same rapper.

eta: I did see interviews with some they had listed, MC Hammer for ex... but thank God no Elliott. :)

whew! what a relief!

terriberriez - January 14, 2008 09:05 PM (GMT)
LOL I didn't really think E was that hardcore! lol That lifestyle does exist though, and it needs to change.

Linda4Elliott - January 14, 2008 09:55 PM (GMT)
thanks for letting us know, itslate!!

I noticed that Missy Elliott is listed on their credits, but not on IMDB. I think someone is confused.

Again, please go to IMDB and let them know. I think a few requests will help in removing Elliott.

I understand this is a documentary, and as stated it is a "controversial documentary" I just read it was banned by Wal-mart on their web site and supposedly banned from the US lol (and I got it). But there is so much on this video that in IMO just shouldn't be there... a little TOO explicit. They show making drugs, putting drugs up your arm, smoking crack, flat out porn... the mention of all would have sufficed. Seriously, it takes a lot to stir me lol. But I'd hate to see Elliott associated with this film, or anyone unexpectedly getting it, hoping to see Elliott from the etrain :).
