Title: Records

Anybody want to dare date yourself? Anybody remember records, the disks you played on record players and bought at record stores? I miss those. I'm just getting used to cd's, now they're becomming old fashioned.
It's funny hearing artists refer to records and record sales, when they're not talking about what I think of as records.
What records do you admit to owning?
I have singles of the Bee Bees, Sonny and Cher, The Monkees, Donny Osmond, Jackson 5, Romper Room, and a bunch of 60's artists. I have albums of John Lennon, Bee Gees, Marry Poppins, Barbra Streisand, Lawrence Welk, Larry Ferarri, folk music and Bobby Sherman.

I still have a stack of old 45's as well as tons of albums. My turntable isn't working and I haven't played them in ages. I can remember being Beatle crazy as young as 2nd grade. Grew up listening to Sinatra from my parents (still love him but he was before my time) who also had tons of Elvis. Sorry but I never was into him.
Was a teen in the seventies and loved everything but really heavy metal. From folkies like Ronstadt and James Taylor, to duos like Hall and Oates and Loggins and Messina,Streisand, Billy Joel, Elton John, the Eagles, Chicago, Doobie Brothers, Jefferson Starship, Bread, Genesis, and my favorite funky boy before Elliott, the one and only Stevie Wonder. Those were the days....

My dad has a ton...I have a few. I have Wham!, Freddie Jackson, Survivor, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, and a few others...and some from when I was little, like Cabbage Patch Kids' Christmas and Alvin & the Chipmunks. :P I also have one of Enrique Iglesias that is a single of "Rhythm Divine" with some remixes on it. That's not as old, though.
